Hi Jasmine
Let us see what the cards have to say for the foreseeable future. I cannot give exact time scale for these readings, but you should be looking for the next 3 – 6 months.
The question: what is the outlook for Jasmine in terms of love and romance during the first half of 2010?
I am using the Rider Waite deck.
Present:
The Fool. A Major Arcana card indicating imminence of event(s).
You are either going to embark or you have already embarked on a new path which could be taken at a moment’s impulse and with a sense of adventure. This new step may be taken without much thought as the more you think about it, the less you may be inclined to take the step. I am not saying you should think or should not; it is just a situation where you may take certain risks in your life or decide to take a new path without too much analysis or research about the possible outcome. This is the present.
Near or immediate future:
Wheel of Fortune. Strength.
Two further Major Arcana cards which may impact your present actions.
The Wheel of Fortune is turn of events which can be favourable or not, depending which way you look at it and how you decide to take or discard opportunities being presented to you. This is one of those cards which can be ‘good’ or ‘bad’, if I could use these two words. Whatever the outcome of this, however, strength will be on your side and the kind of strength which is not a physical one, but of the mind, spirit and soul. With such strength, as seen on the card, a lady taming the lion with no fear whatsoever. It is with this kind of strength that you will be blessed to manage your affairs in the near future and that is something which usually comes to us as a blessing from the universe.
Farther future:
Seven of Pentacles. Four of Cups.
A waiting period seems to be on the cards to see if what you have worked on will bear results. There will be a period whereby you may look at your hard work and waiting for the results may not be so pleasant, because it may feel like sowing the seeds and watching for the sprouting plants to burst through the soil. During this period I also fear you may feel despondent and start wondering about the ‘what ifs’ of events and if you could have done them differently or if there could have been a different or a better choice. These are all trying times when one is faced with boredom and can’t see results coming through. The Four of Cups is that period where one wonders if things could have been better handled or done in a different way. Waiting usually does make one feel that way.
Tips and Advice.
Ace of Cups. Four of Swords.
I feel some new beginnings in the area of possible romance may put you in touch with your emotional side and you may look at life under a different set of glasses. I will also hasten to add that this card is not always and necessarily new beginnings in love and romance; it can be a new spiritual awakening and a sense of loving oneself and also being open to Love itself. The ‘advice’ factor of this card prompts me to say that when you get to that stage, you will be more prone to receiving love and romance coming your way.
There is another element in the advice section which is for going low and going within to find some answers. Sometimes it is good to go on the slow lane of life until we gather our thoughts, weigh the pros and cons of certain situations and then get up and face the world afresh.
The Answer/Summary:
King of Cups.
A person in your life or his qualities which will be a support mechanism for you and that is of a man in his forties to fifties, loving and emotional in his approach. He is a water sign and sometimes his position can be difficult because he has to cater for different situations around him with his support giving what he can to his loved ones. This can be a person entering your life, or already in your life by way of a family member or someone who fits his description.
Jasmine, I am not sure if this was what you were looking for by way of a reading. But the cards have brought their own answers to the question I asked. I have to admit, I had to lay the cards twice and on both occasions the answers were not dissimilar. Nothing is cast in stone though. I feel each step of the cards’ layout here is by way of advice as to what you could do and how to handle situations. I also feel your present situation may have an impact on how things could move for the foreseeable future.
You know best what is going on in your Present and the immediate future which have presented themselves in three major cards. Do not fear because there are three Major Arcana cards; these simply mean that things cannot be ignored or their impact in your life could be imminent.
Let me know if this reading meant something to you.
All the best.
