Hello Sum
I am happy to respond to your request and I will immediately say why bother about the past? But… then again, I will be the first to retract and agree that the past does haunt us and we tend to cling to the past. My comment was not meant as a criticism, but hopefully a way to look for the future.
Before I pick the cards and lay them in a spread, I tried to connect with your energies to see what I would get about you and the energies around you. This is what I got:
The immediate feeling I got was one that you are starting from scratch, from the beginning and the phrase rebuilding my life came to me. It was as though you were kneeling on the floor and starting to rebuild things from scratch. Just like planting new seeds in the soil; going back to basics and at the root of things. You can take this symbolically, the bit about kneeling on the floor, and make what you will. These are the images I am getting about you.
Why you have gone to the basics…..? I get the feeling that you are trying to put the past behind and start afresh. There is a passion about you, an enthusiasm about this current phase in your life where you are not feeling sorry for yourself, and you are carrying out this rebuilding process with a smile. I also feel you have the support of your family in this as I see figures in the background, supporting you. I cannot pinpoint who they are, but I just feel closeness from them to you; so I can only assume they are family members. There is a strong motherly energy standing right behind you and almost touching you to encourage you.
I also get a feeling about the past rather than the future. I am sensing someone in your past who is sort of in a haze. I feel this person is staying in the past or in the pages of your past and you’re trying to close that chapter. Without sounding presumptuous to your opening thread, I feel this is a male energy and I do not sense his presence in your life to be so strong, hence I see this person in a haze or a certain dimmed vision. (Perhaps it is my eyesight/) This is why I am inclined to say this person’s involvement in your life was in the past and is probably staying in the past. I cannot say if this was a romantic involvement and if this is the energy you are trying to keep in the past and start afresh.
Since you did not have a particular question, I will treat this as a general reading and will ask my question as follows: What is the outlook for Sum in romance and/or the general energies in her life? I will use a three tier spread possibly covering a time span of 3 – 6 months.
Deck used: Rider Waite.
Present influences:
Knight of Pentacles. King of Pentacles.
OK. Two court cards and both relating to the element of Earth. Pentacles relate to our earthly and material and physical needs. The put us in touch with our human needs and desires.
Court cards are always a bit of a complex situation whereby the reader needs to explain to the querent that they could either be in your life, coming into your life or even their personality traits which are having an impact on you, i.e. you are acting like them or you need not act like them, or modify your behaviour etc... (Quite a handful, eh?)
The Knight is someone who is a slow mover; he thinks tenfold before making a decision. He is very thorough and yet to the extent of being somewhat obsessive. It is like someone who needs to check all the windows and light switches before going to bed, even though he has switched them all off beforehand. His energies are those of a reliable person though; you know where you are going with this knight, even if it takes some time because he will not move fast with his plans. He knows how to proceed and has a vision of what he wants, but he will be rather calculating and cautious about all his steps. He is not lazy, he is a hard-working person, but also needs to loosen up and have some fun.
Could this be a person in your life right now?
Or, might you be behaving like him and perhaps need to balance your point of view in life in order to get where you want to?
King of Pentacles. This is someone older than the Knight who has a financial mind and is good in giving advice on financial matters. He could be a boss, a banker, a father figure, someone of such age group. It does not have to be a male figure though; it can easily be a female. He has a gentle personality and his involvement with you is currently one of support, advice and showing you the way on how to handle your affairs.
Near Future:
Three of Swords. Two of Wands.
Swords belong to the element of air and they signify the power of the spoken word, ideas, issues and thoughts in our mind which we may sometimes blow out of proportion.
The Three of Swords, as the picture shows, three swords going through a heart, could mean emotional anguish, some form of heart ache, possible parting of ways or words that have been spoken, ideas that have been aired which give way to emotional discomfort. However, behind the pain and distress, there is the promise of all of this being washed away with the coming rain and giving clarity on the situation.
Two of Wands. It is as though, following the above, new ideas and plans take root within you and you look at the future with new hope to build what you want. It is almost a surge of new passion (Wands = fire element) and a host of new ideas that you need to start putting them into action. The picture shows a man holding a globe in his hand, and having made a choice, looks ahead into the horizon. It is almost like saying, the world is my oyster and I will not stop at anything.
Farther Future:
Knight of Swords. Seven of Wands.
Again, we have a court cart here in the form of the Knight of Swords.
I will have to present it to you the same way I did the above court carts. The Knight of Swords stands for a young energy (mid twenties/early thirties) who has a habit of being on the fast lane in lief and never sits still. He is intelligent and he knows it, but lacks tact and can also be insensitive. He can be authoritative but somewhat domineering too. He can also be chivalrous but you wonder sometimes if he is just hot air or if he really means what he says. This is someone in the future. His over active state could also signify plenty of movement for you by way of travels.
The Seven of Wands tells me there is some competition or a struggle in store for you where I get the feeling you will have the upper hand. I cannot pinpoint in which area of your life this is going to present itself, but I rather feel it may have something to do with our Knight or the situation that this kind of energy may present itself to you. The Seven of Wands is a passionate situation whereby you will fight for what you believe in and I don’t see you giving in on this.
Advice/ Things to come.
The Empress.
A major Arcana card in the form of the Empress which signifies feminine intuition, nurturing and maternal tendencies, sexuality and abundance. At times this has also meant a possible pregnancy.
The Empress’s advice is for you to be in touch with your sexuality and put your nurturing and motherly instincts in good use when the time comes. I am sure those instincts are well within you and her appearance as Advice or Things to Come gives me the feeling that you could be sexually active, enjoy beauty and abundance around you and start appreciating all the good things in life – no matter how small or insignificant – that may come your way.
Sum, I do hope this resonated with you and some of what was given made sense to you.
I wish you all the best for the future and hope to have your feedback.
Many blessings.

Hi Cedars!
Thanks so so much for your wonderful reading. Yes, it made sense! I was wondering if I could trouble you with a couple of qs about the content ...- just for me to understand the reading a lil better/understand the feelings you may have about certain issues- more just cos i'm curious. Many thanks!
1) I am planning to set up a business in the future- it will bring me a lot of joy in terms of fulfilment and financial stability. BUT as i am very idealistic about it- i am wondering whether the struggle you mention in your penultimate paragraph is referring to handling (possibly this business situation) initially with a naive/”romantic ideal” attitude, and then finding that things are not as "easy peasy" as i presume they will be? Or is the energy more true of an unexpected struggle maybe?
As you noted- i have just come out of a tough time very recently (not the haze person you mentioned- a more recent trauma), and was wondering if the energy felt like the struggle was something more like this repeating itself (a fight that stems from total injustice)?
Or perhaps a struggle such as fighting to save my current job or home (i.e a feel of handling a situation that i could have controlled and prospered in and was given every chance, but just unfortuantely failed in) or perhaps a struggle that i am currently fighting regarding a unjust situation in which i am reprimanding people that have behaved unjustly (that consequently stand by their bad behaviour)? I know you cannot give specifics - but i am just curious as to your feel of the energy... of course don't worry if this is not possible, or to much to ask or unreasonable to ask! Many thanks!!
2) Advice/ Things to come: this sounds wonderful! I am again just wondering about your feel of the energy. I interpret this as being free spirited in regards to the opposite sex etc going forward. I would love the stability of a partner as anyone would, but love the spontaneity of flirting etc, and being desired - and the fun times i have had in these situations that i have been lucky to experience the past year. Just wondering if it just feels like this will continue, and that this is the likely interpretation of the card/ your feel from this card/ the energies you have described? Or if the energy just feels like things will be very quiet in the near future with boys and will shift (i.e flirting . romantic opportunities and fun will just die down and everything will be quiet)
Thanks SO much and please don’t worry if i shouldnt be asking any more qs etc. Or shouldn't be asking for specifics - please forgive me if this is the case...
Ta so much for the previous reading and your time. Loving this site also – quite a find!
Sum

The way I see, interpret and feel............
The breakup or the anguish of some sort may push your forward to exploring newer horizons.....
The struggle/competition etc may have something to do with the Knight of Swords as they appeared together in that particular placement. Now, whether this is a person you may be dealing with in your new business venture, or if you will be dealing with him on a personal level, I am not sure. That struggle is having to contend with people around you. I do not feel it is a single-person kind of struggle, as you are against six wands, having one (the 7th) for yourself.
I do not know the in-depth details of this struggle and I cannot pinpoint exactly in which area of your life they may come to be. Here I am running the risk of being predictive beyond the realms of the cards and I am inclined to say it MIGHT have something to do with your current employment. By that time, I hope you will know who this Knight of Swords may be (if he is in fact a person coming into your personal or professional life).
The Empress is a major Arcana card and it may not necessarily stand for the mundane. It is an archetype and, as such, it indicates a way of life, thinking, attitudes, turn of events..... but I cannot validate all the specifics that you are asking.
Am afraid tarot does not work that way and this is the best way I can answer your detailed questions.
This reading is a guideline; you have the ability to change, divert and modify the turn of events in your life.
I am not taking the evasive approach Sum, but your questions are bit far too detailed and I cannot - hand on my heart - support or invalidate your outlook or your way of looking at things.
I wish you all the best and, as I said to another querent before, please take this as a guide and do not base your life purely and solely on readings.
Bless you.

Let me try to give a general statement.
When we ask for a reading, and receive one, then this Reading build on the connection the Reader and the seeker establish.
Since there is no personal contact, one establish contact by looking on name and age, how they ask, and out from that a picture are built to help in achieving contact.
When both part is honest in their work, or information giving, then the end result is better, but it will always be up to the seeker to fulfill any Reading.
From time to time, we can see that people who love Readings, in their eagerness create several member's id in order to explore it further.
It must be clear that if the info given to the reader is "in any way false, which 2 or 4 or x different member name is" then also the reading become false, it is given on false info, and as always...crap in....gives crap out.
Another point to ask for Readings to often, is that it is confusing, we can not choose the reading we love as most, because then we have status quo, and if your life is good...well then this type of reading fit...if not...a change must occur in the way we do thing.
Since this is only a general info, and my view on it, there is no need to discuss it further
