Hello Scarabcameo
Your question is a conditional one – a Yes or No question which is a bit difficult to handle with the tarot cards and one which most tarot readers may try and avoid. A simple yes or no reading is so easy and yet so difficult to give. We all connect in different ways and one might get a Yes and another one might get a No. I cannot go down that route.
Looking at your situation and your question, you only need a Yes or No answer to set your mind to rest…… or worry and be anxious. What if it is a No? How would that shape your life or what would be its repercussions?
As you can see my dear, we can make it as easy and as complicated as we want.
I do not want to follow a special spread for this reading. I would simply like to lay some cards and go by what feelings and insights I get. I hope that will be acceptable to you.
I am using the Rider Waite deck.
I have picked six cards for you in no specific order, placement or a spread:
I asked for insight, guidance around your situation also asking the same question that you put in your request.
These are the cards I picked after shuffling and cutting into three piles and picked the third pile.
Five of Swords. Seven of Cups. Two of Wands. Ace of Wands. The Moon and the Six of Pentacles.
Rightly so, you have to fight your battle and be selfish in it because of your son and the financial repercussions that the outcome of this court case may mean to you both. There is nothing wrong why you should not feel selfish about this; let no one tell you otherwise. However, as it stands now, there is neither a winner nor a loser. At the same time, however, I get the feeling that if you won this case to your and your son’s advantage, I have a nudging feeling that any winnings might make you both complacent and splash it out in areas where you may not need to. Please do not take this as a disrespectful comment, but sometimes when we are suddenly confronted with winnings, we may be dazzled at what we can use those winnings and may, I say ‘may’ (a possibility), lose the plot. Foresight is of importance here in order to make certain choices for the future, because that was the essence of your question – your son’s education and his future, indeed the future of you both.
Whilst the outcome of this court case may present you with new opportunities to make a fresh start, you may have your fair share of doubts for the future. Advice being give to you from friends and relatives may still put some doubts in your mind as to which way to go or who to trust. The Moon suggests that you listen to your own intuition and ignore all other forms of interference. Only then you will be able to see the fairness in the final outcome whereby you will get what is deservedly yours and others will get their just fair share of what they deserve.
With this array of cards, my feeling is this court case may turn out favourable to you, but with strings attached or a twist to it. I cannot tell what those strings or twists may be.
I do fear, however, as the last card I picked being The Devil, whereby I fear once again bondage to financial and material comfort may overshadow your priorities. You can rest assured, should that happen, it will not be a huge task to get rid of those chains. It will be within your ability to come out of it, as long as you wish so.
I know this reading sounds inconclusive and somewhat vague as an outcome, but, as I said in my opening statement, I asked for insight into the situation that might transpire rather than a Yes or No answer. The cards or spirit have given a set of cautionary advice and I went along with them the best way I could to connect.
I would appreciate your inputs to this reading, if any at all.
Blessings to you my dear friend and may all go to your and your son’s highest good.
