No Love, I did not mind at all, it certainly explained what I have been feeling to a tee.  As per the ex, I know when he is thinking about me, I know when he is talking about me, and I know when he is looking for me on the internet (I always seem to have an urge to play online poker and sure enough he is on).  I have changed all of my screen names though so that he does not know when I am on.  I try to wait until he leaves though so that I am not tempted to look for him.  I deleted my myspace so that he could no longer see my pictues or my childrens pictures.  I have told him that I have not called him because we have nothing to talk about.  If he wanted a floozy, he could go get a prostitute; I wasn't anyone's wh-re.  He just did soooo much damage to me, and I almost had to go into the hospital because I couldn't hold anything down for a long time.  I got down to 92 pounds and never, in my life, have I had an eating disorder.  I tried so very hard time and time again to make it work, but you can't change anyone; and most importantly you can't live on a hope that they are going to change to be with you.  I have to honestly say that in reading your post, this is the first time I have cried in about 6 months.  I think that may possibly be a good thing, though, because it lets me release a lot.  I don't wish nor do I want to get back with him, I want him to quit thinking about me so much.  I want him to realize that he lost me, I'm moving on, and he needs to do the same.  However, given that I possess this FABULOUS gift, I can't get him out of mine because I am in his.

I understand very well what you mean by the ‘fabulous gift’ that you talk about. You have the ability (I think you both do) to feel whatever the other one is feeling. It is a gift indeed, but to our detriment, it can be a painful one too. Have they told you that you might be soul mates or twin flames…..? I do not know what it really means, but apparently they are one of the most difficult ties to break free from.

wow, pulling this one out of the cobwebs, lol.  The ex and I have been split up for 2 years now, but sometimes it still feels like yesterday.  I can still feel when he talks about me, thinks about me, dreams about me.  Every three months he calls without fail knowing I will not take him back, but just to "talk".  I have moved on as far as dating is concerned, but there will always be a piece of my heart that is left for him...more like he made sure to cut a piece of it anyway.

I sort of know what you are talking about..... I can relate to it in so many ways. Sometimes we leave our hearts behind or part of it with someone else but we know it will not or never work out. It's sod's law, as we say in England: can't do with and can't do without. But it seems to me you are able to do without him and you are moving on.  If in your heart of hearts you know that it will not work, then please do not look back even if in terms of energies you are still connected with each other by some cord or whatever.

I am no expert on these 'twin flame' things or the wretched 'soul mate' stuff, but apparently they are not the most pleasant things to be landed with.....
