the 1st time i read the reading and didnt pay attention to the cards and when i re-read it and the hierophant sounded odd to me cause im not very familiar with the tarot....

Alee, I usually regard Major Arcana cards as a strong pull/force in the situation that is queried, never a person. opportunity, or even an event itself. Those are usually pinpointed by a minor arcana or trump card. Major Arcana has to do with the life lessons, phases and forces hidden behind events, opportunities and persons. Hope that helps.
