Good, good,

Let me ponder the cards, "whoooo".

I've chosen the followig candles for you;
White for clarity and purity of mind,
Yellow, the colour of the Sun, for ultimate success,
Green, for financial improvement,
Red, for wisdom and knowledge.

The fragrance of the incense: Silver rain, as a sweet smelling fragrance to the spirits and God. All "tools" were annointed with Ylang Ylang Oil.

Blessed be

Hi iisha,

You are probably going to want to kick my +*&^. I packed your spread, recorded it and now as i wanted to actually insert the interpritations. Overwritten the original file and gone is the list of cards. I did an extremely distressing reading yesterday and it left me physically ill, due to the drain it had on my spiritual energy, I'm so sorry.

I need to take my staff to town this morning for their weekly shopping, but as soon as I return, i will lay your cards again, and this time be sure, I won't dissapoint you.

Please forgive my transgression.

Blessed be

Hi  iisha,

I used the standard Rider Waite deck and the Celtic Cross spread;

The Significator.
This is a card the reader may want to use to ground the Querent, or understand it as a pivot; all the cards refer to a central point or person.

Queen of Pentacles
A regal and respected woman, known for her generous nature but never someone you can fool or take advantage of. She has respect for money, but is not ruled by it; a wise and prudent manager who provides an example to others of how best to use and distribute real wealth and be comfortable with it. Like the King, she is intelligent, and she has greatness of soul which commands respect and admiration among both her peers and those she rules. If this card does not represent an actual person, then it describes a situation of well-ordered comfort, which comes not merely from having financial security, but in knowing how to use money wisely. The card also represents hope in the form that you have the ability to overcome obstacles with prudence and wisdom.

When we look at the Celtic Cross, we see that it comprises ten cards. From one to ten, describes a path the Querent is following. If we look at the implication of one vs. ten, one cannot exist unless it has a defined route, nor can ten exist, unless the route has been followed.

Card 1:
Present influences,
General atmosphere, state of mind, people & other influences now at work.
One can be related to the Magician, it signifies the root force, origin, first spark. In essence, that which started and maintains this reading and how the cards are influenced.

Sun
Triumph, success, happiness, accomplishment, contentment. Achievement; success and honors. A new beginning, a birth (as of a child, a project, an idea, a career). Material blessings, a joining (such as lovers) which will be happy.

Card 2:
Obstacles and blockages,

In representing obstacles, this card indicates people or any forces at work influencing the Querants present circumstances or blockages existing about which the querent may not be aware off.
The twos are related to the High Priestess. As such they indicate duality but, more importantly, they indicate instinctual knowledge. Aces are undirected energy; the twos are, in a sense, the knowledge of what the direction for that energy should take.

Star
Wisdom, immortality, spiritual enlightenment. Hope, happiness, intellectual fulfilment. Satisfaction, hope, bright prospects, destiny, insights. Progress toward your goal; understanding to what those goals should be.

Card 3:
This crowns you.
It describes your goals in this matter, and if it will be achieved at this time. This card explains your ideal aim, what you hope to accomplish in this situation and or the best that you can make happen under the circumstances—whether or not it is what you want. It also represents the immediate future, in that which the card describes is still to come.
Ruling over the threes is the Empress, of course, whose card is all about creation. The child in the womb, the seed in the ground. So, with the twos, a choice has been made about what use to put this passion, emotion, brainpower, craft. Now we get the first results of that decision, the initial offspring

King of Cups
A just and honest man, who is or has been kindly disposed toward you. Responsible and mature, he displays paternal feelings toward you. He is intelligent and probably cultured and well-educated as well; and as a result has skills and connections which you need at this time. His appearance in the reading indicates that he is willing to help you in some way; or will be willing if asked for help. If the card does not represent a person, then the situation involves justice, honor, learning and understanding, intelligence and intelligent action, in short authority fairly used. The circumstances themselves are highly favorable for whatever endeavor you have in mind.
Card 4:
This is beneath you.
It describes the foundation under discussion; a specific event or different things happening in the immediate past which, because of their influence on you, are the reason, or direct cause of the situation you find yourself in. This card signifies, that which has happened to you and how it changed you. This card also signifies what you can do, to help you reach your final aim or goal.
Fours are ruled by the Emperor. Like both the Emperor and his throne they signify a kind of stability, a holding pattern if you will. For a moment, everything is still, solid, rooted, established. This can be positive, a solid foundation, or negative, something that refuses to budge or change.

Queen of Wands (reversed)
A dangerous enemy, since she operates on intelligence more than emotion in her opposition. Especially dangerous if her own position, business or family are threatened. If not a person a time to be cautious especially in important relationships (business or otherwise) don’t step on any toes if you can avoid it. Deceit, infidelity, jealousy. Greed and avarice.

Card 5:
This is behind you.
This gives the influence or set of circumstances that is busy happening now and will soon end; the situation which has just passed or is now in passing. In effect, events or circumstances in your past, as shown in the first few cards, created a general personal environment in which you were operating. This environment is now busy changing, either because you took steps to change it, or because some influence is forcing a change. This card is the current from which the Querent is passing away, and it may be the past of the matter. When trying to read the Fives think of the Hierophant. The Hierophant represents a teacher, counselor, or priest, someone who advises people when they're in trouble. Likewise, the Fives are unique cards in that each one seems to pose both a problem and an answer. After four fairly smooth cards of growth and development, the fives represent the fly in the ointment. Instability; the changes that make one humble and allow for growth. Of the question asked of the Hierophant by a troubled supplicant, the problem is real world. The answer, however, appropriate to the Hierophant, is usually spiritual or at least pragmatic. Understand that all Fives temper the Querent - you go through the fire, the low points, the hard times, in order to come out stronger

Six of Pentacles
You have or will ensure your financial stability. You are or will be in a position whereby you can truly see the change from a tumultuous past to a stable and balanced future. In fact you are able to share that wealth and have enough to ensure the brighter future. A very important matter to remember is to be in reach of all those you may assist, don’t elevate yourself above them, you were also in their position, not too long ago. With your knowledge, abilities and tenacity, expect, and accept a better way of life and the beginning of greater achievements.

Card 6:
This is before you.

This card describes the future influence or set of circumstances you can expect; the change in personal environment that either should (if you are advised what to do) or will (if you go with the flow) take place. The past described by card 5 is giving way to the new situation as a result to the actions you have taken. If the situation in card 5 has been described exactly and a specific timeframe can be added to it, card 5 and 6 can act as timing factor, as that which is described in card 5 timed until now, card 6 can then be applied adding the same time period but into the future. In general readings the timeframe is also general and can be from a few days to 12 months. When asking a specific question, you can include a time period of say within the next two months etc. It is the current coming into action and will operate in the specific matter.
Sixes are balance and harmony, especially after the upsets of the fives. These cards predict a solution, and not just any solution; there will be an exchange, a give and take that results in a new equilibrium. It may not last, but for that moment, everything is stable. With this card, there is an almost "Ah-HA!" of recognition, of understanding in the solution, and more than a little awe at the symmetry achieved by it.

Two of Wands
You have been presented or will receive opportunities for new projects. In approaching this matter focused, you have the ability to develop, plan and manage these opportunities with perfect balance. You have the knowledge and ability to fulfill your dreams and ensure success. Using your creative ability has put you in a fortunate position. You are boldly embarking where no man has ever gone before.

Card 7:
This is you.

This card represents you. In general it puts you in perspective in terms of the circumstances of the reading. It shows your stance or attitude towards yourself or towards your situation. It also reveals how you are likely to behave or react in this situation. Therefore this card signifies the Querent’s self, his attitude to the matter.
Sevens relate to the Chariot, a card about finding and maintaining complete control and mastery over wild or opposing forces

Emperor
Authority, accomplishment, worldly power, stability, wisdom, ambition, reasoned action. Leadership and ability to govern wisely. Compassion. Protection. Aid. Goals reached and won.

Card 8:
This is your house.

This card represents your environment, or surroundings, in this situation; that which is going on around you at this time. It shows your effect on people especially those close to you, or closely involved with you, it also shows your general effect on events. More importantly, it shows what kind of effect, other people or events, has on you, what they are doing and how they are reacting and what their intentions are regarding a situation or in these circumstances. Therefore it signifies your house, your environment in the affair—the influence, people and events around you.
We relate the Eights to Strength. Eights are about moving, taking action, as Strength is a card of courage and transformation. It's very easy to let things stay as they are inside yourself or without (though, as the Eights warn, it's easy but damaging). It is much harder to gather up the willpower and mental strength to make a real change. A scary change. Like the Strength card, it is scary to approach that lion, but you can alter the relationship you have with it

Four of Cups (reversed)
Now is the time to seize the day. After having some rest or a period of stillness, you are able to shift into high gear again, be it in a new relationship or endeavor. You appreciate the success around you, and are ready to build on this established foundation. The fourth Cup you are offered will complete your happiness and bring a sense of fulfillment and contentment to you. Approach the matter with vigor.  A better, brighter future awaits you.

Card 9:
This is your house;

This card reveals your inner thoughts about a situation; it shows how you feel about people, events and circumstances surrounding you at this time including your feelings about yourself and your chances of success or failure.
You need to understand 2 things clearly.
First. The card describes how you feel, not what has happened, is happening or will happen. Not everyone’s emotional perspective is always right. Your reaction may be reasonable given the current set of circumstances, but it could also be entirely wrong!!(Not being able to see the forest from the trees).
Second. This card still affects the final outcome, whether your emotional perspective is correct or wrong. As an example, if you have to take action, but is afraid to, how positive or successful the card predicts, a big possibility you will still fail, because you can’t make the change or move
Nine is a card of completion (so is Ten, but we'll get to that). Like the Hermit, who connects to the nines, it is a card where something is finished and the person in turn steps back to look on what he's done, earned, or gained. Nines are among the most powerful cards, usually granting the Querent what it is they, like the Hermit, are seeking

The Devil
Hatred, violence, destruction. Turmoil, fatality, bad luck. Willing bondage. Your own will and authority removed and given to another. Also that which is predestined and therefore unescapepable but not for that reason necessarily evil.
Card 10:
Final outcome.

This is the result. It reveals what will happen or is going to happen; the culmination which will result from the influences shown by all the other cards in the reading. If this card is a Minor Arcana Court Card, it represents a person, who holds the key to the realization of all things predicted.
This is then what will come.
You need to remember one thing, all the previous cards put together creates this outcome, should you not follow the advice, and your final outcome will change.
Consider that life exist around choices you make, sometimes it’s easier to make the correct choice if you know the secrets of the Tarot, so is it also important to remember the choice you make should fit what you want!!! After all you have to live with your mistakes or successes.
As the aces were the pure, elemental spark of the suit, the tens are the element of the suit complete. Not as in the nines, which are physical completion, but in a transcendent fashion. It is the ultimate good or bad of that element. In this card we see attainment as opposed to completion in card 9.

Hierophant.
Mercy, goodness, kindness, alliance (including possible marriage). Creativity. The search for truth. Understanding and inspiration. Religious needs and inclinations. Moral courage; the ability to go your own road if you believe its right, despite opposition.

Three Cards of advice; These cards do not form part of the reading, but relies on the entire reading and only depart advice.
Card 1
Seven of Wands,

Financial gain. Success. At least one major part of your enterprise achieved. There will be competition and strife, but if you stand your ground, you can stand off your competition. Even though it may look as though you are outnumbered, you have the advantage. Consider that these other people are only one step behind you and are now fighting to gain that which you have worked for.

Card 2
The Tower

Disruption, adversity, calamity, misery, deception. Unforeseen ruin, termination. Disgrace. A financial or personal loss, such as the destruction of your home or business, the breakup of a marriage or relationship, any disastrous change in your personal or financial affairs; in particular an unforeseen catastrophe.

Card 3
Ace of Cups.

The tug at your heart is more of a strong pull. If you recently met someone veeery special, don’t carry on looking!! It’s more likely that you’ve already thought about the ring? Of all the others predicting a union, this one is most likely to be your lasting, true love. But then again you know it, it’s as if everything just feels right, fits in and blends perfectly. For now your best choice is with you.
This card also predicts a partnership, but mostly, describes your love life and happiness.

Conclusion and notes;

I must say, your cards are very favourable! Throughout you are given a strong indication as to how your financial situation may improve. When looking at your first card, we see a Major Arcanum, being the Sun, describes a current influence, which seems to be in your favour financially, however, we find your second card being the Star, also a Major Arcanum, but describing possible obstacles on your path. How can such a positive card, bring a bad influence? Not all opportunities are always wise to invest in. When we look at your significator, we find that she shares your Zodiac, being Capricorn. A Earthy person, who has to continuously make decisions and choices, regarding her financial wellbeing. In this sense, I want to bring card 7—“The Emperor” to your attention. The Emperor rules the fours, which denotes boundaries and fixed structures etc. Before we go to far, we also see card 8 being a four. From the word go, with this reading we find stability, and fixed influences around you.

Now, this doesn’t mean all will be sunshine and Roses, not to long ago, you took a bad knock? Therefore think twice before you enter into business partnerships? Then as your final outcome we again find a fixed structure, in the Hierophant. He normally represent formal institutions etc. The Hierophant tend to answer with a rhetorical question. What should I do? You may ask. His answer will be “What do you think, you should do? But this is not where things come to a halt, let’s see what the Devil wants, The Devil, rules Capricorn. This card does not only represent your hopes and fears, but also the possibility of receiving what you perceive. Your perception may not always be spot on, and that seems to be a trap you fall in fairly frequently. When we look at the Devil, we see a man and a woman, chained to an oblong square, on which mr. Devil sit. What does this tell us? Perhaps you want things to be too grounded for your own good, and may present most of the obstacles you encounter along the way.

Now let’s have a look at the three cards of advice.
In the Tower, we see, destruction and ruin. Remember, these cards are not part of the reading, but only gives advice. Looking at this then. The Tower is firmly seated on rocks, so it’s foundations are stable, although the top has been destroyed. How I would look at these three. Even though things around you seem to be falling apart, your foundation is strong, to rebuild or gain anything will be a good fight, which is obvious in the first card of advice. In the same breath, you can find strength in numbers, but consider carefully, who you can trust.

You may want to consider joining a formal structured institution, build up a good foundation, and from there approach your opportunities with wisdom and armed with knowledge. To continuously rely on small bursts of income, without much long-term effects, will only harm you and your future opportunities.

Blessed be.
