I think the reading from Cascade was very good, and so true.

Many times when we get a reading, we look away from the message, and concentrate about the cards, and what they mean to you.

In a way that is wrong...Cascade put them out, and from what she saw, she made an "impression", on what she found you needed to change in order to be more harmonic and fulfilled.

After reading her. and your post, I must say she have put it direct in bulls eye.

In order for you to experience happiness in your life, you need to trust yourself, to love yourself.
Loving oneself are not the same as becoming a great egoist, but to have self values, to trust ones owns judgment, to be self confident.

A person who have the above personality, will beam security, will be open for possibilities that a more unsure person will avoid, and by that attract people from the same group.

If one wish to have a companion, then one can't go around with the thought "I don't care so much for relationship", because that will prevent you from getting it.

There is very few that manage to meet their "love of the life" by first try.
One who look promising might be quiet different when you learn to know him/her, but that doesn't matter if the belief in yourself is good, because you then know that this is not the person you will grow old with.

In order for a relationship to work, both need to have a wish for it, both need to show respect to the other part, both need to have a wish to grow old together.

There is no use to go on accord with oneself to try to save a relationship....if one of the parts start fooling around....and then want to come back....it seldom works out.

So look at yourself, start by trying those affirmations given by Cascade, and I will also recommend taking up Meditation....this gives Balance and harmony to your soul and mind.

Maybe attend a club for fitting of the body, meet other people, be secure around other people, be natural around other people, then you shall see your prince for life might be among them.

Few or none will knock on your door.....but the choice for your life is always up to you

True. I wrote to cascade that i had this kind of attitude once upon a time. I have now realized that i need someone.

All i want to know is how or where or what i could do to find that someone. Its true i have now realized that i need someone but i feel totally helpless in taking any action. i thought cascade with her cards could give some guidance.

not only that, i asked her more about the cards and the readings because i could not fully comprehend the reading. I'm not a reader, just a needy querent. some querents are smart enough to understand from the first post but some like me will need little more explanation.

Thanks for the feedback. I am sorry that you did not find my reading helpful, I must apologise as I am used to giving readings face to face and so I can then explain immediately at length any queries and questions that arise, rather than picking up the feedback later. I am not sure that you read my words thoroughly enough though or took on board any of the advice. I tried to make it quite clear that I would not predict when, who or where, that is up to you and a prediction will only serve to blinker your sight to that moment and event in time, so that you may ignore all the signs and opportunities to make that event happen.

I am reminded of this quote from a well known doctor. Dr. Robert A. Schuller:
I like to quote St. Augustine who said: "Pray like it all depends on God and work like it all depends on you."

So, we can’t sit there and pray and pray and pray, and say God, why don’t you help me? It’s like the joke about the man who has been notified that his house is going to be flooded and he needs to get out of the house. He says no I don’t have to, God is going to take care of me. Then the flood starts to rise and a sheriff comes along and tells him to get out. The man says no, God is going to save me. So, the floods continue to rise, and he climbs on top of the house. A boat comes along and he’s told to climb into the boat. He says, no, no , God is going to save me. Finally, a helicopter comes along and they lower the net to rescue him. The man says, no, no, God is going to save me! Well, the man drowns and goes to heaven. When he gets to heaven he says to God, "why didn’t you save me?" God says, "I sent the sheriff, I sent a boat, I sent a helicopter, what more did you want me to do?"
There is a point at which we have to take responsibility for our faith. When God sends a helicopter, you have to climb in. So, action is a part of faith and prayer as well.

Yes i had read and fully understood that you will not give me a predictive reading as to how or where i might meet a potential someone.

I didnt say your reading wasn't helpful. you seem to have got an impression as rhutobello said. I was only curious to know how you got this impression from the cards. I'm a novice, i dont know much of tarots. All i know is some cards are positive like empress, star, world, queen of cups and such. and some are not positive.
You took a very positive card like empress and asked me to be like the empress, which makes sense but i couldnt understand the why *the energy around me* should be the empress, if i am not like the empress.  umm.. i hope i made sense.
in simple words, i wanted to know how you used that spread. like if
the energy around me card is ME, what was the emperor card-my past? present? future? i couldn't understand that. i wish you had elaborated on that.
