3***2***1****S****9***8***7
15**14**13
12**11**10
A sixteenth card may be placed if outcome is unclear.
SIGNIFICATOR; this card represents you and centers you in the reading.
Page of Wands.
THE Page of Wands is a young man or woman who displays a love of luxury; she dresses well and enjoys owning material things.
She can be generous and loving, she has a magnetic personality, but also tends to be more careful about the people she’s willing to help or even to love. She is as sensible and practical in personal relationships as in business. She will expect value received for value given, love received for love given, almost at marketplace standard. However, when she gives her love it will be sincere and true. This card also indicates that you have the qualities within yourself that you need, to succeed in your endeavours, and that you can stand on your own two feet.
Cards 1, 2, 3: These cards cover you:
These cards describe the basis of the situation or its present influences. It tells you the general atmosphere in which you are currently operating, including your state of mind in this situation, and or people other influences presently at work.
Card 1
Ten of Swords (Reversed)
Even in this situation, this card is still not favorable. Although not as bad, profits, gain and progress will be insignificant. Expect small advances in your personal relationships but not really long lasting.
Card 2
Nine of Cups (Reversed)
With this card reversed, it still predicts financial and personal success. Although you have the wealth and prosperity, you need to start looking at your personal relationship. The fact that you concentrated on making money, caused some bad influence in your relationships. Take time out from work to repair the damage.
Card 3
Wheel of Fortune
We are all bound to the Wheel of Fortune. Some of us are fighting our way upward while others fall by the wayside. Some sit on top of the heap, apparently unaffected by the vagaries of fortune. But the wheel is turning for everyone, whether or not we are aware of it. What results for everyone is pure chance, and has nothing to do with individual worth, or lack of it. The message here is in direct contrast to Justice. In both cards, each individual is treated with strict impartiality. In Justice, however, the result is fair; you get what you deserve. In fortune you get what happens to come, no matter what you deserve. What’s worse, the forces controlling your life don’t consider you, or anyone else, at all; they don’t even see you. In effect you become like the objects on the jugglers table, tossed about at random. In fact you are even less than that, for at least the juggler watches what he’s working with, even if he doesn’t care about anyone but himself. The Wheel of Fortune teaches us that there are things in life that just happen, and over which not you, and not even blind fate has control. You must be aware that the wheel is constantly turning, and that your life is being affected by it. If you want success, you have to fight to take control of the uncontrollable; to force fate to give you what you choose, whether or not you deserve it.
The secret of good fortune is to learn to use your psychic or inner powers, to control your fate, rather than allowing yourself to be shifted around by any wind that blows. Blind fortune has no interest in who wins or who loses; she simply turns the wheel at random. If you want to come out at the top, you have to learn to care enough about what happens to you to take control of the Wheel of Fortune.
Cards 4, 5, 6:
What you just went through. These cards reveal the things you need to know but are not aware of. They also point out those things you know but do not think are pertinent.
Card 4
Temperance (Reversed)
Disunion, lack of harmony, Competing interests; unfortunate combinations or alliances (such as socially unacceptable marriages or partnerships). Frustration, impatience. Even though it seems you are stalled, things are proceeding to it’s proper end and will arrive at it’s proper time- don’t push it,. There is nothing you can do right now. If this card represents you or are the significator. You are impatient for results. If you are sitting back and waiting for results you are doing what you should, in fact you are doing the only thing you can right now.
Card 5
Two of Cups
The appearance of this card predicts your path with another person. So many times we see people joining, just to part ways in a few months. Here sometimes is the answer to your question, “yes”; you have met the right person. You even feel the contentment in your spirit. Your vibrations just match, you have the key. Describing the union of two people, the card doesn’t only indicate marriage but also describes your spirits being two, joining and becoming a glorious whole with happiness, joy and harmony. If you have been considering joining a partnership, go ahead. Trust is the key, here you received the lock. Without both fitting the other, either one is useless.
Card 6
Magician
Strength of will, intuition, self control, self-confidence, autonomy, diplomacy. The positive qualities of humankind: skill, initiative, intelligence, discernment, and comprehension; freedom from control by others, al leading to success and the ability to control your environment in a positive and creative manner.
We must also look at the creative side which the Magician has. Although this card is linked to mysticism, we must remember that the Magician stands for creativity. That which is hidden may be made public. This needs to be seen as a development within his imagination. The skill that he applies to realise imaginary visions and projects is based on his own will and self reliance, he can be seen as a controlling force on the four elements, bringing them together, merging all the power to influence his destiny.
Cards 7, 8, 9:
What you can do about yourself. These cards reveal those things you can choose to change. Personality traits you want to keep or lose.
Card 7
The Tower
Disruption, adversity, calamity, misery, deception. Unforeseen ruin, termination. Disgrace. A financial or personal loss, such as the destruction of your home or business, the breakup of a marriage or relationship, any disastrous change in your personal or financial affairs; in particular an unforeseen catastrophe.
Card 8
Ace of Swords
You have really pushed and shoved hard, used your force of will and influence to get to where you are now, you made sure that you employed your common sense to determine, not only your, but also other peoples lives in a positive way. You have the edge and conviction to use your new found power in a righteous way. Now is the best time also to start that new idea you are or were pondering.
Card 9
Seven of Wands (Reversed)
Consider this a warning not to hesitate. Make up your mind now, and take action. You’re confused as to what moves to make, but the situation is such that even the wrong action, if taken decisively, will be better than doing nothing at all. This is not the time for uncertainty or indecision.
Cards 10, 11, 12:
What you cannot affect. These cards reveal those things you need to be aware of but cannot change. The attitudes of others. New situations.
Card 10
Five of Wands
You are or have entered a time in which you are not really sure what to do; it’s an area you haven’t explored before. In this sense you have to learn as you go. There is strenuous opposition around you. Therefore it makes it so much harder to achieve your goals. One thing is sure, that when you have fought the good battle, you will be armed with knowledge, understanding and power. When others get to the point you are now, they too will fight you for that portion you achieved. With your experience and knowledge you will be able to fight back victoriously. But remember, the most important thing never to forget, is that this is also a time of planning and strategizing to retain your agility.
Card 11
Knight of Pentacles (Reversed)
An idle young man or one who is negligent and irresponsible. Carelessness, discouragement, stagnation, apathy. If not a person, may indicate being unemployed or discouraged. This card may also show a lack of focus on your part, the inability to choose or work toward your goals wisely. Stagnating investments.
Card 12
Ten of Pentacles
The trials and tribulations to gain success in your business and family are over. The time of upheavals, losses, arguments etc. is over. With your business actually running on it’s own, you have or will have more time to spend with your family, strengthening the bonds ensuring harmony. You have or will be rreaping the rewards in the sense that you have secured your financial future by creating an income which is permanent and not subject to alteration from outside influences, in short, sound passive income. This is also a time when you can safely say “I’m working to keep myself busy, I don’t have to work”, you can now lean on your wealth and create more to ensure the well-being of your offspring. Your castle is established, everything is paid for. You are free from the bonds of debt.
Cards 13, 14, 15:
Final outcome.
Card 13
Nine of Swords (Reversed)
Even with this card reversed, it’s still not a good card to have in your reading. For you it still predicts illness and mental imbalance. You can also see that circumstances will present as stifling and you will feel entrapped or in bondage.
Card 14
King of Cups (Reversed)
A deceitful man; one who cannot be trusted. A dishonest, double dealing man who will trick you, or cause losses in personal relationships or career. Injustice, vice scandal in the offing.
Card 15
Ace of Wands
Throughout a person’s life, you are presented with opportunities for success, but sometimes these opportunities are sure failures. You are presented with an opportunity to start a new venture. The possibility is that you have been contemplating this move for some time already. It is obvious that you have made your calculations correctly and your plan of action has been investigated thoroughly. A point of interest is that now is the right time to make this move the negative obstacles has had their time and something of the past. Note, that although the idée you have will be successful, there would be no time for you to rest on your laurels. This is all about hard work will be rewarded.
Hi Amanda, I’m sorry if it took me a while to get back to you. To be honest, yesterday, the cards refused to speak to me at all, very annoying sometimes. Yesterday is now the day before yesterday!
Let’s get cracking (sometimes a whip helps), the reading I did, works with sets of three cards, so we need to weave the web, and make sense at what we see. In your current frame of mind or circumstance we look at Ten of Swords ®, Nine of Cups ® and then The Wheel. Looking at how this lot konfokulate each other, is the mystery, we have a lekka(good) Major Arcanum and two minors which is not to good. I ask myself, why this would be. Let’s look at this as a snowball, we get the momentum from card 1, which says, not much to consider or hope for, going on to, start fixing what went wrong, you know the pawpaw and fan effect. Instead of you standing behind the fan, throwing the pawpaw, the wheel did that job, and you, in the firing line? But let’s get back to the snowball, you may have well asked fate to throw the pawpaw, why? You are working too hard or being just “too busy” So, the wheel is upright and says—good fortune! What do we make of this, very simple; you can and are able to turn your situation into a positive way, when you start giving a bit more attention to your relationship. If your car is not OK, what about Greyhound? Won’t cost so much, then a little bit extra cash to spend? You must also remember that a relationship works two ways, from his side you need to read the signs very carefully and see if he would also do the same?
Now we get to the second set,
You are getting impatient, you may not agree, but that is what Temperance is telling you, take all things, one step at a time. A Union of two people is clearly seen, however the one to use wisdom and clarity of mind, is you, create the space your partner would fill, and live the life, with due constraint.
Cards 7, 8 and 9 Don’t always be thinking that your relationship will end, because of the distance. The negative thoughts you are harboring, get rid of them. Make-up your mind, and stick to your decisions. Now, a shot in the dark,,,,, is there someone else courting you, or trying to draw your attention??????????? Very simple, decide what you want, not need!
Continuing to 10, 11 and 12. In your spread, we find a lot of Pentacle cards, normally we assign these to financial matters as well, but in this, I lean to give more importance to your relationship. But not forgetting the finances either. In this set, you need to know, you have contenders, and “very ready” as well! You need to know that in this area, you need to be very tactful. I think because of your insecure “concept” around your relationship, you sometimes do more harm than is good for you? Once again you are reminded to focus your mind in one direction and pursue it with vigor. Seeing that there is very little movement in your relationship, is creating a “mindful” chaos on your part, but this is absolutely your own viewpoint and over-active imagination. You’re a person of some “strange” habits, and perhaps a bit bashful sometimes? Just look at the future with your partner, create the harmony, give it chance to develop and mature In the end, be sure, it will be worth your while!
AHA, you see, with an ostrich feather, here we have a “hot potato, prickly pear” or how you want to call it. Now we have to pack the bull by the horns. Another shot in the dark here—an older man, perhaps- dad, doesn’t agree with your relationship, and tries to end it as far as possible? This is absolutely a shot in the dark!!!!!!!!! And card 15, I leave up to you!
In closing, the possibility for a good union is to be seen, work on a few bad influences you bring to the table, and avoid the stumbling blocks of being impatient. Your finances, up to you, how you are going to get in gear, but see an improvement in that area as well
I sincerely hope that you can see a direction or course of action to take.
Blessed be.
