I could so use a reading right now! I am going through a pretty tough time
with my life right now, been trying to make my marriage work out but things just don't seem to be going where they need to. I have a good husband too, its me. I've just so changed and I have tried to be happy and
find that spark again but I am embarresed to say it nots happen'
There is another man who I have feelings for but we are not involved in an affair or anything like that. But we both care for each other. Well, I do believe him and I hope I'm not off there.
I want to start a new direction in my work life too. Been home for a long time taking care of kids whom I love so much, but I am so restless right
now I feel like I am going to go crazy!
Anyone out there, I would be so appreciative of a reading! Really!

Dear Mystic

I read your post several times and I sensed your dilemma, confusion and your state of being stuck in a situation which is brought upon us at some stage in our life. Yours is no different. You say you are missing the spark that you had once with your husband… Let me ask you: do these sparks last forever? Do they disappear and then come back? Do you look for them with and within the same person and when you cannot find them, you somehow panic and start looking for them elsewhere? I am not judging you my dear; all I am doing is to try and rationalise this state of mind.

Let us see what the cards have to say.

I am using the Rider Waite and a sort of mini Celtic Cross spread.

1-Your experience to-date:
King of Pentacles.
A good provider; financially secure and a business-minded man in your life who has seen to your material needs but perhaps not so much of your emotional needs. I say this because I don’t see the King of Pentacles as someone who is too emotionally involved. I don’t mean to say he does not feel or has no feelings, but he is someone who is detached from emotional expressions and so on. He has a good business head on his shoulders and people would go to him for advice on financial matters.

2-Where you are now.
The Star.
Forever hoping and nurturing all those around you. Hoping that things will balance themselves out by blending in your mothering instincts as well as the feminine within, who is hopeful that things will turn out right. On one hand I sense here you wish to be the mother and the nurturing female, and on the other hand I sense you hope that things will take a different turn. As distraught as you may feel in this current state of mind, I feel the Star is giving you hope for the future to stick around and be the moderator for all around you. I am not saying all around you needs moderating and balancing, because they are all getting on with their life happily and perhaps do not see what is going on inside you. I sense here whilst you have your own aspirations, but at the same time you do not wish to abandon what comes natural to you – to love and nurture.

3-The near future.

Grieving a loss. Here is a man who has his head down grieving the loss of a situation, or may be feeling sorry for himself that all is lost and no hope left for him, but fails to see that out of the five cups, three are fallen in front of him but two are standing upright behind him. The fact that the two upright cups which are behind him and concealed from his vision due to his pain, shows that all is not lost yet. In your situation my dear friend, should you think that there is nothing left to live for in this current state of affairs, please bear in mind that there is still some hope out there for you.  I don’t know if you are seriously considering leaving your husband; that is your decision. However, I cannot say it is going to be pain free.  But whatever decision you take, within the pain there is an element of hope…… the two cups still standing upright out of your vision.

Victory, even if at times it feels merely on the surface, but it is victory indeed. Victory against evil, victory against the forces that may have plagued you as you march through the cheering crowds holding your wand of victory.
Now you are wondering what this victory is. Is it because I leave my husband and run off with this other man or is it because I stay put and keep my family intact?

These three stand for keep the convention and what is already known to you. Keep tight to what you’ve got and stick to your resources and be disciplined and have fortitude. I am sorry my dear friend, I cannot really tell you what to do with regard to your marriage. This is a decision only to be taken by you. I could neither encourage you to leave nor stay. This is a decision to be made by you and you only. If I have to refer to my instinct and gut feeling, I would say perhaps you need some time out to assess the situation and find your own answers. But I do feel happiness is already there for you, but you seem to have been blinded by outside influences.

OMG what an incredible reading. I have had a computer crash and I just read it with tears in my eyes. You are so right on it was scary.
I felt your caring through your description of me and I thank you so much.
Things have gotten worse, I more miserable than ever.

The man with his head down, could that have been this other man
I feel in love with?? He pretty much told me on Valentines day it was over.
I don't think he could take the little bit of relationship he was having.
For us both I think it needs to be all or nothing. And becuase of our
situations right now it can't be all, so I gues it will be nothing for now.

Still I sense it's not over with him. I also sense I am not going anywhere now too, as you suggested with the idea of staying with convention. I have no choice and I feel that I need to take some new direction. This whole sitution seems to be pushing me toward some kind of more independant life. But as you said I cannont push away the nuturing side of me too. This other man has the same issue. A problem with a child that cannot be pushed aside or even revealed in its truth to most anyone. It a crazy thing.

The King of Pentacles could not have in any way described my husband
any better than if you had known him yourself! That was incredible. And to answer your question, that was one of the problems I ignored from the beginning of the relationship. The sparks were really never there, I married for the wrong reason, stability. And every now and then I can't help myself but go out looking for that spark I never had. I didn't
have the courage to wait to meet the right one. I am a coward in that sense and I want so much to be that person I know I can be.

No matter what age, sex or personality, I believe we all deserve happiness.
I hear what you're saying about your journey with your husband and the reaosns for it. Dont beat yourself for it - at the time perhaps those were your needs. Happiness always has a price tag attached to it to and an element of pain goes with it at times...

If in your guts you feel this guy is the one for you and it has not finished yet between you - then I suggest you believe in what your instincts are telling you.

These readings usually cover a period of 3 - 6 months and I do not wish you to sit in a waiting mode during that time, Donna. You also deserve to LIVE life in whatever form and colour and in whatever degree of happiness. Please do not deprive yourself of that.

I have been off the board for a while, problems with my son. too many to go into. But I just am now reading your response
to my response! Thank you love, you are do incredibly kind and loving and giving to do this for so many people.
You are such a light!!!
I am living life, maybe not making any physcial moves just yet. But mental ones yet. I am getting out to meet like
minded people and just trying to get involved with the world out there. I still feel the "thing" between me and this other
man is there, out there waiting for something. But I sense it will always be there, and the lesson may lie in that alone.
I do now beleive that love alone is not always all you need to make things work out, it is much more complicated
sometimes.
