Hello Stacers:
In answer to your request for a reading on romance and career, please accept this attempt from me, as I first try to connect with you psychically and then we’ll see what the cards have to say.
Romance: I get the feeling that you are in a store trying items of clothing on different racks. A sense of haste, as you go from one aisle to the other, trying one item after the other and sort of going around in circles. I am being guided to tell you to let that item of clothing, that dress or indeed that person come and find you! You deserve to take a rest from the race within your own soul. As soon as you sit down and no longer worry as to what might fit you from these racks, then what really suits you will find you.
Career: I feel somehow that whatever job you’ve been doing so far has, for you, been insignificant. You have ambitions and you know you can do better things. I get the feeling that there is an opportunity for you and I also feel you are doing everything you can to get that job. However, you are not the only one who wants that job. I see a line of people waiting for it too. I sense a hesitation form your side whether to push for it forcefully or just wait until events unravel the situation for you. It is being impressed upon me that patience will be a good force to reckon with in order to obtain what you want.
Now let us pick the cards and see what they have to say:
I am using the Rider Waite deck.
Romance:
Seven of Cups. Six of Swords. Knight of Swords.
A man looking at seven cups, each presenting to him different potentials and possibilities, stands confused as to which one to pick. The situation of having too many choices and in that lies the danger that one might make the wrong choice. The phrase ‘not all that glitters is gold’ comes to mind immediately and with these seven cups all looking at you invitingly, they simply dazzle your eyes and may even give the wrong impression. If this has been the case with you in the past, Stacers, it must have had its fair share of let downs and sometimes disappointments. I see you getting away from that phase – Six of Swords – and taking yourself to a more peaceful state of mind and turning your back to a phase in your life that had its ups and downs – something which has drained you emotionally and you have felt the need to keep way from all that pressure and to enjoy some peace for yourself.
The Knight of Swords heralds the arrival of someone in you life who is lively and has an upbeat personality; someone who is always on the move, never sits still and yet can be quite gentlemanly in his manners. However, I would not say he is a deep thinker; someone who likes the fun side of life, who would rush to help a damsel in distress, but still I don’t feel he is the settling type. Whether you want to tame him or have an equally good time with him, will be entirely up to you.
Career:
Eight of Cups. Ten of Swords. Three of Wands.
I feel strongly that you may be leaving a certain situation behind, of your own free will, and go forth searching for new opportunities. This very step itself may give you the occasional doubts whether it is the right thing that you are doing, but I see you being adamant that you will go and take your chances to find what you want, even if the road ahead seems rocky and sometimes daunting.
At a time when you feel low – Ten of Swords – and think that there is nothing to get up for, the sun will shine upon you and give you hope and perseverance to fight for what you want. Even if you sometimes think that all is lost, I feel you are simply being cynical at the situation, knowing very well that you will get up and fight again.
With the Three of Wands I see you in a position of leadership, looking towards the horizon and anticipating all your hard work to pay off. This is a person who has had to make choices and now is standing firm on his/her beliefs and will not take No for an answer, as he looks forward to put into action all what he/she believes in.
I hope this has been beneficial for you, Stacers, and I wish you all the best for 2009.
Blessings.
