Dear Nathaniel
As I read your request, I could not help but repeat to myself your full name. There is such a nice sound to it… a wavering tone, almost like a musical tune, especially with your first name. I could be miles apart in my assumptions, but I could not help linking in with you via your name – N-A-T-H-A-N-I-E-L RICHARDS.
Have you noticed the way I separated your first name and left your surname intact? Before I go to the cards, let me give you what I feel from your name.
A strong and a colourful personality – long name. A name that travels; that has continuity. You do not make associations and then drop them flat until you have given your best shot to it.
Nat – haniel: this is the bit that tries, evaluates, and gives everything a fair chance that comes into your life. Tolerant, sympathetic and understanding.
Richards- to me this bit feels like you would immediately put a stop to a situation once you see it is not going anywhere, after giving it a fair chance – more than a fair chance sometimes. Almost like a knife, you may cut all ties and move on.
Let’s go to the cards.
I am using the Rider Waite deck.
Seven-card spread; sometimes I make it eight by way of an outcome.
You now.
Page of Wands.
Energetic young man, full of ideas and creativity. Thoughts of creation going through his mind; ambitious to the extent that he wants to turn the desert green with his imagination and creative thoughts. Despite these strong ideas and the zest to go forth and put them into action, he needs some growing up to do. Perhaps he is in some kind of haste to jump the natural process of progression and maturity.
Energies around you right now.
Nine of Cups. Five of Cups. Nine of Pentacles.
The current situation looks like a see/saw or a roller coaster ride of having had it all to losing some and then taking time off to take count of your situation. It is almost you came so close to having it all (love, work, education, dreams and/projects) then you lost some and then stuck to your guns and safeguard what you currently have aiming again for gold, figuratively speaking.
In different words, Nathaniel, in the nine of cups, a man is sitting content with what he has as he folds his arms having nine cups standing upright behind him. This is contentment of having it all. Then we see in the five of cups someone grieving his loss, face down looking at the five cups toppled in front of him, while two are still standing upright behind him. In his grief, he is unable to see the two cups standing behind him, which could mean that perhaps all is not lost yet. The nine of pentacles shows a woman enjoying her hard-earned pentacles (money) in her back garden and leisurely walking around with his bird and truly enjoying herself. Is that you perhaps jumping back to life after a setback and gathering your energies or falling on your cushion of security planning your next course of action?
Energies for the way ahead.
Four of Wands. Six of Pentacles. Seven of Pentacles.
There is success, there is celebration of some sort, either on the home front or in your projects as you bring home the results of your hard work and share it with friends and family. It does not end there though. You share your success with those less fortunate than yourself, giving fairly to those who are in need. To be in this position, one needs to be fair and be mindful not to give more than the other deserves, though enough to encourage them to get on and bring their fair share in their quest for success. I feel I am stuck on the six of pentacles whereby I feel I should caution you not to GIVE IT ALL AWAY, for I see with the next card there is a waiting period for you again for your efforts to bring in the anticipated results. This waiting period could be frustrating sometimes as you look at all the efforts you have invested into something and have no choice but to sit and wait. Patience is a virtue and this man in the Seven of Pentacles looks at his project patiently knowing they will come into fruition.
At this stage I decided an outcome card and I got the Three of Cups.
Partying, celebrations, being amongst friends and enjoying each others company, as these three ladies raise their cups over their shoulders while plenty of food is at their feet.
I feel there is not a dull moment for you Nathaniel in the energies around you but somehow you seem to bring the pieces together.
I do hope this meant something for you and I look forward to having your feedback.
Blessings to you my young friend.
