I called off my year long relation with my ex boyfriend last month due to his indifferent attitude towards me and refusal to commit. The last straw came when he didn’t wish me on my birthday. Anyways, after receiving my mail, he wrote back saying he will call when he is free from his ‘busy’ schedule. nowadays he updates me (thru mails) on whats happening at his end. I have not replied to his mails as Im not sure if he is ready for a commitment, or once again wants a ‘no-strings-attached’ relation. Im also dating other guys but again not very successful.

Please give a reading to clear my confusion. Should I move on or wait for my ex? Is there a likelihood of a new person coming into my life?

Oh dear, you don't need a reading you need a hug! How awful. To me ignoring a birthday is grounds for divorce! From what you have said you need to ignore him and find yourself someone new that will love and care for you and treat you like you deserve to be treated With love and respect and devotion!

It sounds like this chap is just keeping you swinging, waiting and warm so that if things don't work out with what he is doing at the moment you will be there are a second choice. Ouch!  I know it is easy for me to type this but I have been there many times, it is painful to accept and sometimes it is far easier to let things take their natural course and the dwindle and let the nager build until you finally crack and scream at him and walk away.
