Hello Sarah
As you had not mentioned anything about the state of your current relationship, I am assuming you just need to know where you might be heading to and sort of a general reading.
At first, right after I read your request, I started getting feelings that your relationship might be currently going through a period of stagnation? It felt to me as though you go about your life and relationship together, under the same roof, as a matter of routine. I am not saying there is any shortage of love in your relationship, but might there be the absence of a certain element of passion and stamina?
If that is the case, I got a feeling that perhaps some new blood into your relationship might be some of the answer, i.e. by way of more social activities with friends and, in particular, couples.
I also picked some cards for you from the Rider Waite and using a nine-card spread.
YOU:
JUSTICE. ACE OF WANDS. FOUR OF WANDS.
A sense of get up and go and fiery energy around you. Wands being the element of fire and passion, I feel perhaps there may be some legal matters around you that need sorting out in order for you to enjoy a new lease of life by way of new beginnings in the creative side of your life and the social element. For you to be able to come home and put your feet up, I feel something around you needs to be sorted out; this can be either you within yourself finding some kind of equilibrium and balance thus leading to a new phase of energy to get things moving in life and, possibly, in the work environment. There are good ideas in store for you, but Mr Justice, for me, is standing out and telling me that something needs to be brought to the surface and out to the open.
THE PARTNER: (or the other party)
THE MAGICIAN. THE FOOL. SIX OF PENTACLES.
A head full of ideas, solutions, means to an end and a strong element of risk taking and exploring new horizon. I feel the other party wants to do extraordinary things; unconventional things, almost like give up all his riches and go out and explore the world on his own. He’s got the Magician to give him all the tools to do so and the adventurous spirit of the Fool for the bold step to move out and do what he has never done before.
I don’t feel that this is some kind of a doom and gloom situation, Sarah. I just feel that you both have issues to sort out for your own persons, for the individual within in order to balance things out for yourselves and hopefully find that bridge for the relationship.
THE RELATIONSHIP BRIDGE:
FIVE OF CUPS. KNIGHT OF WANDS. TEN OF PENTACLES.
I feel at times the relationship seems as though it has run out of steam and you sort of give up on it. But I don’t see it as a dead end, Sarah. There is hope and all you have to do is look at the possibilities of bringing it together rather than turning your back to it in despair. A new energy into your life, as depicted by the Knight of Wands, for whom nothing is too much trouble (this may even happen to be your current partner who has these qualities but does not use them) a get up and go type of energy that sometimes lets you do silly things all for fun and revisiting a time in your life when you might have been on the go doing things on impulse and not much thought. I have to hasten also that there is a down side to this type of energy when he can also be vane and self absorbed and it is wise for you to be aware of these qualities. Nevertheless, amidst the despairing factors of the five of cups and finding that good balance of the energies of the Knight of Wands, I do see a completion of a happy contentment for all by way of the Ten of Pentacles. Dare I say you could even start entertaining ideas of starting a family….?
You have had some major Arcana cards here signifying some major turning points or issues that are significant in your current life. The fire element has come out three times which talks of energies, new energies and a shift in energies. There is that hint of warning or despair with the five of cups that influences your current state, and on the material side of things, there seems to be a happy completion.
At the risk of sounding like a preacher (which I do not intend at all), I feel the other party has got ideas and wants to do things; I also feel you have the energy and the desire to bring this about. Something I feel is missing that should play as a balancing act between you two. One of you gives too much and the other is always the receiver? Is this perhaps where the balance lies?
I do hope you did not think I’ve been rumbling and that this has made some sense to you.
When you get a free moment or two, I’d appreciate your feedback.
Blessings to you both.
