My husband and I are wanting to open a new business ( we were selling things at a flea market, things I really had no love for !) He is wanting to buy a BBQ catering trailer and open that for business. The trick is his parents have offered to help us if we send them money to save for it. At some point they would supposedly help us with it because they have good credit . My gut is screaming no to this because his mother will then I feel, get too far into our business. Am I just being weird or is my gut correct in feeling we will be making a deal with the devil ?? Too what I really want to do is to open a New Age book and gift store. I guess I am not exactly asking a direct question but I am trying to give a good insight into what is going on.
What would be the likely outcome if we went with the BBQ ?
Should I just set aside the whole New Age store thing ?

I am simply too involved to be able to give myself an objective reading !

as I was reading your post, please excuse me for saying this, but I did not have a good vibe about this idea: 'send money to us and we will do the saving for you.' Cant you save in a bank, less the emotional, family pressures and involvments about which you yourself dont have a good gut feeling about? I would say follow your gut feeling on that one.
