What does it matter knowing the outcome now versus later? Either way you will have to deal with the matter at hand? Either you'll fight it or not fight it, and both ways you'll have to live with it?

I like this spread too. It is mostly used by users of te Tarot de Marseilles.

It is great because it allows you to have a clear idea of the problem the querent is facing, where the querent comes from and where the querent is heading. Most importantly you sense what the influence is. I have learned recently from a friend that a reading without influence cards/positions fails to clarify the situation.

This is what I like about this. It gives you a great snapshot that is focused enough....

Wow, thanks.  That's pretty close.  The rashness was right on, but again, that's the other side, the younger person.  I won and lost, if that makes any sense.  The hearing went well for me, but it's clear that we are going to have to go on to trial, because we can't find enough common ground for a settlement.  The younger person is my brother, the other person in the lawsuit.  Communication broke down so far that a serious problem could only be resolved in this way.  And, yes, it is quite upsetting to me.  It's a choice between letting myself be totally ruined financially, or fighting my brother in court.  Not pleasant, win or lose.  If anyone ever has a chance to go into business with a family member...DON'T!
