Hello Pollypoll
At first I tried to connect with you psychically and got the following picture:
I sensed you riding on a train – in and out of situations. You talk to every passenger and you are unable to stand still and/or concentrate as to what they are saying or what you wish to convey to them. I see you shuffling papers, in a panic, signing this and that. I feel you are as if at the mercy of people to give you their seal of approval.
I also sense in this current pace of yours not to neglect the people in your life, like family members. Might your partner be expecting another child, if not already had one? I also get the feeling that you are working for your family but the pace is a bit too fast. I don’t know why I visualised you on a train, but towards the end it came to me: like the train slows down when it approaches every station, I feel I should tell you to slow down too.
Now let us see what the cards have in store. I am using the Rider Waite deck.
The spread I am going to use is a 5-card spread, but I am going to add to it the card that flew out – Nine of Wands.
I will look at the Nine of Wands as a separate entity.
This is a man who has worked really hard and is so protective about the outcome of his work that he may almost kill to keep what is his. He has got eight wands behind him standing upright and is holding the ninth one for sweet life. He will protect his domain with all his might and will not let anyone destroy his hard-earned rewards.
Could this be you I wonder?
Now let us go to the spread.
You now:
Page of Swords:
The spirit of a youngster who is sure of himself and has his head sometimes touching the clouds. As I look at this card I am being given the word Ambivalent; unsure of himself at times and at other times quite cocky and strong-minded. He has got a young, fighting spirit with his sword held up high towards the sky. If I were to combine the Nine of Wands and the Page of Swords, I would say not to be complacent of your success and remember what you’ve earned through sheer hard work.
Positive influences:
Five of Wands:
They say healthy competition is good and brings out good results. Like the people in this card who are competing against each other; may be difference of ideas and opinions, wands raised high but not in a violent manner, nor even causing each other any harm. If they put this competition and exchange of ideas to their advantage, they could even form the shape of a pentacle and hence reap the benefits of their ideas into a nice financial outcome perhaps?
Obstacles/ Hindrances:
Seven of Pentacles.
If you are an impatient person, then this is an obstacle. We all want the results of our hard work to come to us fast, like this man on the seven of pentacles who is looking patiently at the seeds that he has sowed expecting their results. The results will come in time and with patience.
Message from the tarot (or Universe):
Ace of Wands.
A divine gift of new ideas, new energy and creativity being bestowed upon you in the form of a wand being held for you out of the clouds. This signifies new beginnings in the realm of new ventures; Wands being the fire element, this card signifies that fiery energy and passion which is still in its embryonic stage, not yet manifested to you, but you will start feeling its impact once it lands upon you. Wonderful opportunities that could be made possible for you once that explosive and zestful energy touches you.
Outcome:
Judgement.
What better way to bring this reading to a summation in the form of an outcome with the Judgement card. Almost like a new beginning, a cleansing of the past and the mistakes, a rebirth and an awakening to greet your future ahead thus leaving the negative aspects of the past behind.
Overall, I would say whatever you have been going through, and yes, there is and has been some hard work and struggle along the path, but the future does not look bad at all for you Pollypoll.
Blessings and let me know if any of this made any sense to you.
