I would really appreciate it if someone could do a reading for me please regarding my love life.

I'm female. Feeling a bit sorry for myself - my love life is non existant at the moment and just want some hope that this might change.

I tried to link in with you psychically at first before drawing any cards and I got the impression that you may have been trying too hard in the past and have not let things come to you naturally. I got the feeling of a period of a year or so, whether you have been single for a year, or whether you have been living a life trying hard, I am not sure. I sense in your present state a certain feeling that you may think life is passing by you and when and if you will meet that person to share your life with?
Please bear with me and my linking with you; I feel there is an obstacle that I cannot get through to you. Past Influences:
King of Swords. The Devil.
I see two contradictory aspects to the Past with you:
One of self control, lack of emotion, astute, fair-minded and being ruled by the brain rather than the heart (either traits of your past character, or a person in your life who had those influences on you). And one of – pardon me for using the word - ‘hedonistic’ way of life which created bonds and then broke them either by natural course of events or by making contact with the wrong person, unsuitable to your level of vibration and energy.

Present Influences:
Judgement. The Star.
So far you have had three major Arcana cards which means that events and situations in your life have been quite significant.
After the Devil, the Present in your current energies is one of cleansing, rebirth, leaving the past behind, making amends and almost, as the characters in this card are depicted, waking from the dead to the call of the angel’s call, rising naked from their past and being purified of their past mistakes. This very purification is enhanced by the Star’s promise of hope for better things to come while you nurture yourself of the feelings of this rebirth without losing hope of what your aims are towards that future.

Near Future:
Temperance. Ace of Wands.
A fourth major Arcana card here again, Temperance, asking you to find a balance and blend in your emotional and spiritual life or energies like the archangel in this card pouring water from one cup into the other while he himself is standing one foot in water and the other on dry land. The depiction of the Star and Temperance are quite significant in your present and the near future: a question of transformation and metamorphosis in your own energies not to lose hope and yet let nature take its course. For you it is important to find that balance in your life of the physical, emotional and spiritual. A much needed equilibrium and balancing are on offer for you from the Universe. All you need to do is be willing to receive them and implement it in your life.    
Similarly with the Ace of Wands the gift of new energy, new prospects in your creative realm and ideas are being handed over to you in the form of this wand which is sprouting with new leaves and shoots amidst a clear sky and green pastures. This energy could be work related; it could be new beginnings in associations with work or on the social scene charged with creative ideas and great passion.
Since you have had so far major Arcana cards which mean things are on their way to you like on the express route, I would say the Ace of Wands being the fire element and representing the season of Summer, only enhanced by the major Arcana cards, I’d say great things coming your way quite soon...... even in the summer months.

With the changes coming your way in your Present and Near Future segments, the Magician is simply telling you to choose wisely. No tools will be spared for you, from the divine to the earthly; it is almost having a magician next to you making your wishes come true, giving you the feeling that everything is achievable as long as you choose wisely and for your highest good.

I am sorry the cards did not show a Knight or a King coming your way to answer your pressing question about your love life, but they are telling me to look at the bigger picture. The Universe may not think what we want is what we need, but it never stops us from asking for it either. Just have faith that it will come to you but perhaps in a way that you least expect. Perhaps it is making a few stopovers on the way before it reaches you.
