I am pleased to give you a reading based on the Rider Waite deck.
This is a Past, Present, Future type of a spread, but a bit more detailed than the 3-card spread.

PAST:
SIX OF WANDS. EIGHT OF WANDS. FIVE OF SWORDS.
Two Fire element cards and one Air.
An active past where things have been moving fast, full of passion and success stories, I might add. I feel whatever has been happening has also been met with some disappointment where you have felt unfulfilled of the outcome of things.
Whether it is the victorious accomplishment of the Six of Wands and the swift events following that event and a breakdown with certain individuals in your life where you may have acted as mediator which has left you feel inadequate. I would go as much as saying that the victory represented by the six of Wands may have been short-lived and lost its meaning to you by the five of swords. I get the feeling of a roller coaster of a past.

PRESENT:
FIVE OF PENTACLES.
Whether this was caused by the above events, but I sense a state of unease or even dis-ease in your current energies where material and/or physical downfall in circumstances has been the general trend. But please don’t lose hope. As you go by feeling low and neglected like the mother and son in this card, be aware of the light coming from the church window; the light for faith and hope. Don’t turn your back to them, as it is only by believing in them you will be able to go forth embracing the future.

FUTURE:
THREE OF PENTACLES. THE HIGH PRIESTESS. NINE OF PENTACLES.
The Three of Pentacles indicates new career opportunities, possible partnerships, perhaps your own business? A man standing on a bench inside what looks like a church, is showing his ideas to two benefactors or investors? This could also mean revamping your existing place of work or residence and you seeking to have your ideas approved. There may be some mysteries around you in the form of the High Priestess where she has knowledge but not yet for you to find out. She advises you to go within and judge things with your intuition and gut feeling. Things will be revealed to you in due course, but for now get in touch with your higher self.
With the Nine of Pentacles we see a lady who has worked hard, accomplished a lot in her life and is taking time for herself strolling in her garden. She has attainment material contentment and is giving herself a well-earned rest. Could this be you in the future?
