Hi Sue
It is all right. Your plea won over me
I have picked three cards for you from the Rider Waite deck and here is what I feel with them.
Nine of Swords: here is a lady who is sitting upright in her bed covering her face with the palms of her hands. It indicates worries, restless nights, thinking about things and issues and, in other words, losing your sleep over them.
Then there is the Knight of Swords, who has the qualities of an impulsive young man, who is always on the go, always in a hurry, travels around, can be charming and at the same time can be unreliable. As soon as you have pinned him down to have a few words, he is off again having fun, 'must dash' attitude. All is not bad about this young man though. He can be charming and gentlemanly, but only when it suits him. He is one of the lads with the lads, and you may also find him resucing a lady in distress. If this is a person in your life, then there are two sides to him and it is up to you which of his sides you are willing to tolerate or take him as he is. If, on the other hand, there isnt such a person in your life, then in your current state, perhaps you should blend in both his qualities and use each where it suits your situation. If you have had a hectic life style of late, perhaps you should take it easy and stay put and enjoy the calmer side of things...?
King of Swords: this is the father - methaphorically - of the Knight we talked above. This can be a father figure or a husband figure who does not give in to emotions but rather to reason and common sense. He is a fair person, goes for the truth and takes no nonsense and in a regal term, rules with the sword rather than the heart. I will say here again, if there isnt such a person in your life at the moment, it is advisable that you follow the example of this King and perhaps start acting with your brain rather than your heart and things could take a different perspective and keep you in control.
I hope this general reading made some sense to you, Sue.
Please be kind to give me your feedback.
All the best to you.
