can anyone give me a reading please well, im in a long distance relationship ,its been going on  for almost a year and  i was just wondering if it will take us somwhere ..cos well, i started to give up:(

Hi Christina,

Before we begin, I would like to explain that I use the symbolism of tarot as a tool of guidance and enlightenment rather than forecast. I chose two cards, the first tells us about you right now and the energies that are with you and is the Eight of Pentacles. This card shows us a young girl that is walking away from a doll's shop, she is proudly carrying a china doll in beautiful clothes and looks extrememly happy. The shop has many different dolls and puppets in the windows and all of their eyes seem to be following the young girl down the street. I am wondering if you are the doll or the young girl here or perhaps one of the dolls left behind in the shop. All these images may be a clue to how you are feeling now, unsure of where you are, who you are and what you are. It would appear that all the dolls want to be the one leaving the shop cradled in the girl's, safe arms but I am wondering if sometimes it is better to be safe in familiar territory looking out of the shop window until we know exactly where we stand. That way we can make the right decision and find the right person for us to be carried away by.

Next is the Two of Cups, and this card tells us about the energies that your relationship holds. The card shows a young couple flirting and laughing together. It is the night of the full moon and bats can be seen circling across the bright disc in silhouette. The moon however, adds a slight change to the meeting, shadows are thrown across both their faces and sometimes this makes it hard to see if they are smiling or laughing or frowning. Sometimes when we can't see someone this can cast doubt on things and make our feelings fluctuate and blow hot and cold. A distance relationship is never easy and takes two people both dedicated to make it work well. Contact is a pre-requisite, whether by email or phone or digicam, contact and clear vision is the key. Without this images can fade and become cloudy in our memory and we can start to notice the brighter more colorful things of everyday life as they walk right in front of our eyes. This card seems to be two sided, and not follow the traditional in it's meaning. Perhaps it is suggesting that you have to do more if you want the relationship to survive? Perhaps it is suggesting that you both need to talk more face to face with no shadows and in the bright light of day rather than the darkness of the night, and discuss your options rather than giving up. It might be better to confront the situation and decide together what the future for you both holds and if the distance is too insurmountable to overcome, then you can both make the decisions together and still remain good friends.

I`d like to tell you that I sensed lots of positive energy coming my way while reading your post.
what you say is very true - Im very confused and I dont know where I stand at the moment and it makes it hard to make any decision at all. regarding my relationship - thats true as well, before giving it up we have to talk and sort everything out before giving it up, Im just a little scared of bringing on this kind of conversation, but I`ll have to.
