Hello there, My name is Jamie.  I am really enjoying and learning a lot from this forum.  I am learning the tarot cards.  If anyone would do a reading for me I would be so greatful.  I didnt want to ask so quick, I only joined yesterday, but I really need some guidance.  I am a female scorpio who desires a relationship reading pertaining to an aires man and myself. we had a relationship, but have been apart for alomst 4 months.  He was involved with another woman durring the time we were apart.   We want  to rebuild our relationship,  What corsre of action do we need to take...........what do I need to beware of?  Thank you so much.  I look forward to any insights or comments that any of you are willing to share with me.

I have read your post about a relationship reading and I laid the cards twice to try and give you a reading and on both occasions I could not ‘connect’ with the cards. I gathered them all and left it for a while. During the two shuffling processes, I also had the Knight of Swords fall off the deck and on this last (and 3rd) spread it did again. So, am listening to his advice and including it in the reading.

I am using the Rider Waite Original deck.

This is a seven card spread which talks about the energies surrounding you. I am intuitively tempted to take the Knight of Swords as card number One along with the usual number One that I pick for this spread.

Here we go:

1) You and the energy surrounding you at present:
Ace of Wands and Knight of Swords:
The seeds of a new initiative, idea and energy are around you. This could be that energy around you by which you wish to make a go with your ex and try to re-create what you had. At the same time if I take the Knight of Swords as the energy surrounding you, this man represents things (or the energies that you are going through right now) which are fast-moving, impulsive, acting before thinking, always on the go and on the run. Trying to please every one and yet not have enough time for all. If this is you or if you find yourself surrounded with such energies, the advice would be to slow down….. take your time….. keep things under control.

2) The energies surrounding you at your current situation:
King of Cups. Knight of Cups. Nine of Cups.If you have noticed they are all from the Cups suit which signifies emotions and feelings.
King of Cups: A mature man who is loving and emotional, sitting on his throne which is swaying on the waves of water (sea or lake). He has a cup on one hand and a sceptre on the other. He is king and a man who can express his feelings at the same time. He may be the head of the family/kingdom, but also rules with his heart and is not ashamed to show his emotions while keeping his authority.  Next to him is the Knight of Cups who, unlike the Knight of Swords, has his head in the clouds with love and romance, so much so that sometimes he is out of touch with reality. True, he has an offer of love, riding his horse holding a cup, but in a more relaxed and dreamy fashion. With this card I feel one of you is being a little bit out of touch with reality and getting too carried away with the notion of romance. Or… could it be that there is someone else offering love and romance to you? If it is the first one, then coming back to earth and being grounded would be good advice, as in our attempts to rebuild a previous relationship we may get carried away with the emotions with forget certain other practicalities. And then we have the Nine of Cups. This is the sense of having it all and being contented with life. And I sense this is what you wish for.


3) Energies for the way forward:
Seven of Wands. King of Swords. Ace of Cups.There is some struggle ahead of you, to attain your goal, like this guy on the Seven of Wands fighting off six other wands. I always sense with this card that this person has the upper hand in his struggle but not one to be complacent about. The struggle is there, perhaps fighting off a third person of others around you in this attempt of a relationship, but the strength and resolve of the King of Swords who has ruled his empire with the sword rather than his heart (King of Hearts above) is required for the way forward. To me, I get the feeling that this card is saying be strong and don’t give in to emotional blackmail. In other words, perhaps this card is saying, keep your emotions under control until the obstacles are removed and dare I say ‘show tough love’ to whomever it may concern?
With the Ace of Cups we see the beginnings and - the root force of its suit – i.e. emotions, romance, health, and spirituality. I would even go as far as saying that this signifies the gift of love being bestowed upon you from Heaven albeit in its early stages, but for you to nurture and cherish for the way forward.

Ahhhhhhhhhh, Cedars, I am so sorry not to have replied sooner, I just read your reading.  I can't say it;s what i wanted to hear, but I believe its right on target.  Thank you so much for taking the time to do it for me.  Perhaps when I can do a reading for you when I learn a little morew about reading the cards.
