1) You are at an age where you are apparently reaching 7 x 7 and all your chakras will be open and working allowing energy to flow through your whole body. Even without any kind of spiritual knowledge, or training your chakras will mature at the rate of one every 7 years. With training or insight they can open far earlier and develop far quicker, but the seven steps are very important to the physical maturity of a spirit. Other things that can lead to sudden visions are emotional or hormonal disturbance, the menopause or losing a loved one or a divorce etc. Or a change in diet or habits, sometimes just shaking hands with a 'healer' or walking spirit can do this too

So think back and see what has triggered this
2) I would suggest that you start with tarot

You have posted here in this part of the forum for a very good reason and learning tarot can open your mind to the possibilities of more than just life, it can increase your intution and your empathy for others, it can lead you through the lessons of the 22 arcana, each one being a spiritual exploration and adventure. In fact the tarot never used to be used for readings at all, its original use was for students to learn enlightenment
3) Your inner self......
Lets go to the tarot now for some insight ...
The inner you is direct and sharp and on the ball. You don't like being messed around you like to know exactly what is what and only the truth is good enough for you. Your card is Excalibur from the Glastonbury Tarot. The sword that Avalon gave to King Arthur to keep him safe and protect him in battle. The sword of the highest quality and the strongest metal, the finest workmanship and the most intricate etchings. This is all at your heart. Others come to you for strength and wisdom and some are also quite scared of you. You have many dreams and goals and sometimes you get too confused as to which to go after. But you are sometimes a recluse, you hide behind a mantle of blue that others see as a peaceful and unruffled exterior. You don't suffer fools gladly but you do know how to potect yourself and sometimes others mistake this as hostility or abrubtness and so turn away. You have a wise tongue and can twist words around meanings until people get lost and just end up agreeing with you. A part of you hides grief and sadness and a deep hurt, you long for something that you cannot quite put your finger on, but yet you know there is a deepness and soulfulness that if only you could free it you would be happy.
You have endured many years of sorrow and pain, not bad but just enough to take the edge off and make you look at the stars above and wonder "why me?".
You want to break free and to follow your heart on something, I feel that this is your area of learning. The Inner you that you seek. I would suggest that you look for a tarot deck and start there. Start with the major arcana and one card at a time. Each card is a lesson to be learnt and mastered and understood before moving on to the next. That way you will find your inner self as more is put before you and opportunities for growth arise.
Try exploring clear quartz and use meditation and visualisations in your every day life. Expand your knowledge and reach out. Soon those stars will be brighter and let down their answers
