I was just wondering if you have heard about the Tarot course Gem is running on the Mystic Academy here. New people sign up everyday and you need nothing, not even a deck, though most enjoy buying their own after a while. It is based on RW, you have no meanings to learn by heart, just do the exercises following the Way Map in the right order and you will be able to see everybody's work and ask any doubts you might get. It's free, too.

Come on, Dode, everybody is welcome. Even experienced Tarot readers do it to get acquainted with a specific new deck, sometimes, in case you are curious, M'Lady

Thanks m'lady, i am going to take a ride to salem, mass lots of places with tarot cards for sale maybe one will grad me.  and i'm glad you told me there is a difference i bet they are all going to look alike when i go out in search of my very 1st deck (this kind of excites me and i am sitting here with a smile on my face so i do know i am in the right place )

And my bonsai buddy (just bought my 1st bonsai and its still alive and growing even though i trim it LOL)  i thought i was to late to join in on Gems tarot course, i guess i will be checking that out also.

Hope to see you at the Learn Tarot Forum. You might like to take a look at the Guilded or at the Dream Tarot, both beautiful decks by artist Ciro Marchetti. Those seem to be really popular lately, together with other Rider Waite based modern ones.
