Here is what I saw in the cards:

7 of Cups/Past:
You have experienced debauch. illusion, imagination, emotional fatique. This represents the choices that you needed to be make. You may have been faced with a lot of opportunities; you needed to choose the right one.  You may have not been focused in life. Your imagination may have been highly active and conflicted with reality. Indicates great potential and creativity, and the importance of achieving a dream. You needed to be sure that offers you accepted will lead to fulfillment and not the undoing of your hard work. Naturally, confusion threatened to mar your judgment. You went with your first instinct.

The Star was what I used to question the deck and stands for the present:
Rising tide of life forces, inspiration, insight, hope, new ideas, good health, unselfish aid, trust in oneself. The Star of Hope, it brings hope, faith, new opportunities and optimism to any part of the spread where it falls. Indicates that things will go well in the future. Illumination and inspiration that when acted upon brings our dreams and wishes to fruition. Any rough patches will smooth out and indicates an improvement in health. In a career reading past efforts will be appreciated and rewarded. Could be pursuing educational or artistic matters. Expansion. The gifts of the Spirit.  Great love will be given and received. You will be pleased about a new and promising opportunity or the birth of a new talent or career potential.  Don't worry about your finances.  You'll make money in the long run and your prospects for the future look even better.  Follow what you know to be true for yourself with deep sincerity and a firm resolve, and in due time your star shall shine.  Things will work out better than expected, and your faith in the future will burn brightly once more.
 
The Chariot/Future
Realization of universal laws, self-control, self-expression, development, activity. Possible travel. A time of major effort and hard work which could be associated with a struggle and accompanied by the view that it will all pay off in the end. Need for hard work, patience and endurance but the outcome will be good. The winged disc symbol of Isis depicts the spirit being able to soar above emotional trials. The ability to keep a clear mind on emotional matters. Possible travel in relation to work. Travel by car. Forge ahead. Don't give up.
