Hi,

I have done the Tarot for about a year, I am not phsycic but do have an interest in things of a spiritual nature.

I suffered a miscarriage 2 and a half months ago and I have done readings about pregnancy and birth for myself ever since.  I have asked the tarot quite a few times if I will give birth in the next 2 years, some of the spreads came out ok but one of them was a 7 card spread where the outcome card was the ace of wands with the clarification card of 3 of swords.  A forum that I go on, one of the people on there (who is a reader) said it could mean the loss of an infant.  Now I know it is the miscarriage card but does it apply to stillborn also?

I am now frightened that I will have a stillbirth in the next 2 years.  Then I wonder if it is my negative energies infecting the cards.  Then I wonder if the cards can forsee all that way ahead...I am a bit lost.

Logically I just think well if you keep asking the same question your bound to get a bad answer at some point but then I think well what if it was right!

Sorry it's so long but could someody please tell me about future children, I appreciate honesty and don't want somebody to lie to make me feel better..I just need an outside point of view.

First of all let me say how sorry I am for your loss. I hope, physically, you are healed and that you find emotional peace soon.

Secondly, STOP READING THE CARDS. You are right that multiple readings can be confusing. I usually recommend a reading a month on the same subject, and reading for your self is always tricky. You are too subjective when you need to be objective. Also remember, any reading is one possible future, the outcome can always be changed by changing your circumstances. What does your doctor say? Has he given you a clean bill of health? Are there reasons for you to be concerned about having another child?

There are so many questions, is a reading right now a good thing?

If you really want one I will be happy to do a full spread.

I too am sorry for you loss, but I do have a suggestion for you that would be far more empowering than keeping asking whether or not you will get pregnant or have a successful birth.

Why not asks a question like, "What can I do to improve myself both physically and mentally in order to help me create the future I hope for".

and personally I do not recommend asking the same question in under 12 months - you should not make yourself dependent or live you life through your tarot cards. Tarot is a wonderful tool when use the right way to offer us all guidance and direction which empowers us to make the right decisions for ourself.  The future is not set in stone and you always have free will to change your direction whenever you wish.  Tarot used as a tool for guidance is from my perspective far more satisfying and fulfilling than when used for predictive readings. As for yes/no readings, I find Tarot does not always answers those satisfactorily and you may as well flip a coin, after all a reader has only a 50% chance of being right or wrong.

So my advice to you is try to ask a question that puts the power back into your hands and enables you to take control over your own life.

I am also so annoyed that any tarot reader would dare to give such a wild prediction. Where do these people get their training?

The future is not set in stone, things can and will change. You can make the future you want. But please why not take our free Learn Tarot course, it has a part on Ethics of card reading and will give you a lot of information that might help put your mind at rest about the readings
Until then please stop reading your own cards and rest a while, I realise that at the moment all you are concerned about is a future child, thats understandable, but for now you need to heal and rest and take time for you.

Pagan Priest I would like a reading if you have the time but I do not want to put you out or make you feel like you have to in order to put my mind at rest.

I went for a 1:1 reading in September to a phsycic reader, it was a really nice reading. She said that the baby I had lost was a little girl (that brought me a certan kind of peace funnily enough) and that I would have 3 children in total 2 girls and 1 boy (as well as my little monkey on the next plane).  I came away really happy......so I am a very silly silly girl for trying to read for myself.
