I interpreted the King and Queen of Wands (position 5 and 6-celtic cross) as parents or people with paternal feelings toward you. your significator in the middle being flanked by both,

I was having a chat regarding the celtic cross, which i used.

It then struck me that, regarding the King and queen of wands is as you described, your father not featuring as i thought.



A  main consideration which I didn't bring in to play, (only thought of it now), is the direction in which the people are looking. I think you need to pack your spread and you will see what i get at:

All your cards were:
1) Ace of Wands (+)
(2) The Fool (-)
(3) Two of Swords (-)
(4) 10 of Pentacles (+)
(5) Queen of Wands (+)
This gives the influence or set of circumstances that is busy happening now and will soon end; the situation which has just passed or is now in passing. In effect, events or circumstances in your past, as shown in the first few cards, created a general personal environment in which you were operating. This environment is now busy changing, either because you took steps to change it, or because some influence is forcing a change. This card is the current from which the Querent is passing away, and it may be the past of the matter.

(6) King of Wands (+)

This is before you.
This card describes the future influence or set of circumstances you can expect; the change in personal environment that either should (if you are advised what to do) or will (if you go with the flow) take place. The past described by card 5 is giving way to the new situation as a result to the actions you have taken. When i said the influence from your mother is becomind less, is because house 5 is the recent past coming to and end, hoouse 6 is the future coming into being now.

Now looking at the direction the royals are looking, the page right and up to house 9 and ten 10. The Queen to the right but not totally, showing her influence depleting.

Then the page and the King, totally back to back, in fact this signifies that the King your father is in himself isolating him from you, but you also not "recognising"(for lack of a better word) his importance!! you actually turned your back on him!!! That is more in line as to what you said.

So in doing your reading, this was an absolute oversight, these influences are also seen in the three card spread. The you, middle, the left past, the right future. The direction of the people in the card then indicates where a specific in fluence started and how it's going to unfold. Also how then you will react, beat the odds, or burden yourself!!!

Thank you for this update. Much appreciated. The way I feel about it is that the Queen and King are representing myself and my partner. I feel I have made way now for my partner to take more control of our situation. I've said all i can say and done all I can.

I don't agree with you,

I used the pages because you asked about your parents as well, therefore your significator is the Page "you" and the King and Queen your parents, the other pages indicating your sisters.
