| Hi! Can anyone give me a reading pls. I don't know why i'm getting the feeling that i'm at a turning point in my life.....the feeling that i need to act to do something important or else it'll be too late......but i don't know what.....Does it concern my career or my personal life....should i take up a course for better career prospects? Do i have brighter days ahead? |
Hello,
First I have to say that I don't use the Tarot to predict or foretell the future, instead I use the cards to offer support, guidance, inspiration and empowerment to the seeker by highlighting areas that may have been forgotten or that need extra attention.
I concentrated on your aura and asked the Tarot to give me four cards as follows.
The first card, The Four of Pentacles, was drawn in the position of You, the energies surrounding you right now. The suit of Pentacles links to the element of The Earth and so can portray worldy goods, material wealth and finances. The card shows a craftsman kneeling in front of a chest he has made and he is carefully working on carving the fourth pentacle that decorates the chest. This card can indicate that you are closely paying attention to detail and scrutinising everything that you are doing right now.
Next to this stands the Prince of Cups. Cups is the suit of water and sub-conscious emotions. The Prince sits on a beautiful chestnut horse and holds a golden cup out in front of him as if he is offering it to an invisible person. It is nearly sunset and the Moon is showing in a waxing crescent. This card can signify yearning for something, our dreams and our ambitions. The Prince is static and unmoving but wants to leap into action. Perhaps you are feeling stuck and in a rut? Perhaps you have ideas and want to put them into practice but feel unable to make the first move?
Following on is The Ace of Pentacles, again the suit of material goods, and finances. All the Aces can signify the theme and power of the suit they represent, the offer a gift of a new beginning in whichever are they stand, and so this card might be indicating that you are ready to begin a new cycle in your life, that you have an open door in front of you and all you have to do is walk through.
The last card is The Hanged Man, a major arcana and so a major secret from the cards is being shown here. An unclothed person hangs from a tree tied by one leg, his arms crossed behind his back and oak leaves in his mouth. At first glance this card might seem quite worrying, but if we look closer we can see that he is there by choice, he could easily spit out the oak leaves and call for help or uncross his arms and untie the ropes that hold him and then free himself. This card might be saying that you have chose to be in this position, that you have chosen to keep quiet and not make a decision or say anything. Sometimes this card can indicate that the time is right for us to break free and to use our inner strength to move on rather than stay dormant and still and in suspension.
Going back to your question, you do have brighter days ahead When I was thinking about his question The Moon card fell out of the pack, this card can serve to remind us that in at night in the moonlight things can take on a different look and feel, an illusion that they are worse than they really are. Sometimes at night our fears appear to grow and take on forms as the moon reflect's shadows that are larger than the image. Don't worry, you will make the right decisions, take some time to think about what you really want, what your goals are and then plan how to achieve them. It is never too late, and time is not running out.
Best wishes for a happy future.
I hope that you have found this reading interesting and I would love to hear your views or comments, thanks
Meg

Hi Mystic Meg,
I'm not familiar with the deck you are using. The four of Pentacles actually describes a person which can be seen as holding on to his wordly posessions or a very stingy person.
The Three of Pentacles describes the artist giving attention to detail.
I don't want to question your answer, but I think you may only have inserted the wrong name or number for the card you drew.
The advise you gave is positive and can not be questioned.
Blessed be

Mystic Meg
I would be interested to know what deck do you use? Can I see the pictures on a website? They sound interesting and picturesque..... and intuitive...
I use the Original Rider Waite deck and I learnt (and still learning) the tarot through this. It is not time, I feel, to venture into other decks yet, but I found some of your descriptions quite picturesque.
Which deck do you use Payewacher? (from your above post I think you use the same as mine).
Thanks to both of you.

Hello,
I had hoped that there was some feedback from Jaini here when I saw how many replies, but sadly not, so it's hard to tell if my reading was of any good. Still that's life <sighs>
Payewacker you are right! But for some reason the message given to me from the Four of Pentacles, from this particular deck, was slightly different from the traditional one. Looking at the card I saw the man as a craftsman working hard at the detail of the pentacle, rather than a man that was locking away all his worldly possessions.
I think that it is helpful to remember that every deck is different and that every reader is too, I use symbology, dignities and correspondences to aid my intuitive interpretations. I hope that helps?
Cedars, try this link

I use many different decks, choosing them to suit the question and the moment, and also my feelings I think this one was from the DruidCraft Tarot. In future I will try and remember to put the deck I am using
Meg
