In response to your request for a reading I dealt a comprehensive 10 card spread. My first response to the cards that appeared was, "If ever a combination of cards was dealt for someone about to turn their back on the old and begin a journey toward the new, then surely it is the one before me now!".

For clearly the cards I dealt told the story of someone who was ready and willing to leave everything behind. And by saying everything I mean to include residence, relationships, habitual and dysfunctional ways of living, a life of self-absorption, and restrictive patterns of thought. The story these cards told is that the person for whom they were dealt, if necessary, was prepared to throw everything that no longer served them out the door.  

For finally like the Prodigal of old they have "come to themselves". They remember a time when life was not so heavy. A time when friends were enjoyed instead of endured. A time when generosity and giving were fulfilling and when the joy of learning and discovery was reason enough to be alive.

The cards tell me that the die is cast. The Rubicon has been crossed and it's all over but the shouting. Yes, there may be a twinge of regret and a flutter of anxiety. However, let no one doubt this person's resolve. They are about to "screw their courage to the sticking-place". They are leaving to climb higher. The door is closing behind them and they will not be coming back.

Karess, in the book of your life these cards are the writing on the last page of a chapter and they offer us a peek at what is coming next. They tell us that the air is lighter and brighter where you are going. That it is filled with the laughter of family and friends.

For now keep your eyes on the road before you. In just a while you'll find that breathing will be easier. And you will know that it was indeed the right time, the perfect time to lift the shades, throw open the windows, and let in new life and air.
