Hello Stephanie,

I don't use the Tarot for predictions, I find it is much better at giving us advice that will empower us to make our own decisions and live our lives rather than telling us what will happen. The future is not set in stone, it can be changed just by getting this reading. Everything you do can influence the outcome and so unless generalisations are used, I stick to asking my tarot for advice and hope this might help you too.

Your first card was The Chariot, You
The Chariot can indicate being torn between two things or as we are talking about love here, torn between two lovers. There are two sphinxes pulling the chariot one is dark and one is white, shadow and light, the opposite ends on the scale. This may indicate that the two have different strengths and weakness and that they might actually not get on with each other if they were to meet. The driver of the Chariot, in this case I feel it is you, since this is in the You position of the spread, and you have to be very strong and decide what it is you really want and which way you will go, the path of light or the way the shadows want you to go?
Next to The Chariot is The Moon, this card shows the sun and the moon together in one circle united. Although by moonlight we have to be aware that this might not actually be what it seems, perhaps we got what we wanted and now we realise that we made the wrong choice? Perhaps things look different in the morning or perhaps we have been misled and the inner package and the heart is not what we expected or how we imagined it to be? Be true to yourself and look carefully at all aspects before you make any decisions, take them into broad daylight so that you can see what is real and what is not, that way you should not be too surprised and it is more likely that you will decide correctly the first time.

The base card, The World. This is a wonderful card and in the base position its full power and values can be felt.
