Hi Kaleigh,
I have done a three card reading for you from my Thoth Tarot Deck, to get some idea of where you are right now, with a bearing to your career and future. None of the typical cards connected with pregnancy came up, but don't forget that this reading is only a snapshot in time with regards to major predictions like that. As a rule I find the tarot not the best tool for questions of that kind, much better to trust a doctor
Now - The Chariot.
The chariot is being drawn by four sphinxes, each depicting the Bull, the Lion, the Eagle and the Man, it is driven my a person in a suit of gold armour. This card can signify the point in our lives when we must make decisions and choose our future paths. There are four main directions, as signified by the four sphinxes, each one pulls us a different way, making a good argument for following them. The suit of armour can protect us from outside influences and help us to keep our mind focused on what we want and where our goals lie. It is up to you to find the time and decide what your goals and dreams are and how you can best bring them into being. With two small children it might be hard to make time for yourself but even a few moments sitting quietly meditating on yourself will bring your energy levels up and help you to see what you should do.
Your biggest worry - The Emperor
This card shows a strong masculine figure, sometimes the Emperor can be seen to be overpowering and abrubt, lacking in kindness and gentleness. But this is usually hiding a soft inner compassion. Perhaps you have a domineering relationship that is one sided? Perhaps there is a strong fatherly figure at work in your life at the moment? The Emperor demands people listen to him and take his advice and sometimes this can make our confidence feel like it is taking a pounding and our own judgement tends to take a back seat for while, your best remedy for this is to be gentle and patient and meek. You will know when the time is ready for your own feelings to take pride of place and when it will be possible for you to say your own views and thoughts without going unheard. In everyone's life there comes a time when it is best to perhaps listen and take heed rather than offer advice that may be shot down in flames. This card may give the clue as to what you worry about if you decide to return to your career? Male dominance is a very real factor in some work places, and many women need all their charm and resilience to survive whilst they become accepted again as a person.
Your biggest strength - The Fool
The Fool shows us the beginning of any journey, the innocence of breaking free and starting out in the world, carefree and unhindered by knowledge. The Fool is unaware of many dangers and goes off happily, taking the plunge into the unkown with a smile and a grin. There is usually a small dog or animal lapping at the Fool's heels as if warning them to take heed and slow down. Perhaps this might signify your greatest strength if you start to make decisions on your future? Perhaps you have a small nagging conscience telling you what to do? Perhaps you see small signs that show you opportunities and suggest hidden dangers so that you might avoid them?
I also like to read the card from the bottom of the deck, to see what is beneath you, or what helps to form your base of strength. This card was the Art card, which is similar to the Rider Waite Temperance card. This card shows me that your greatest strengths right now lay in the art of motherhood, juggling tasks and keeping everyone happy, caring and comforting and being patient, all the things that go in to running a home and a family and that sometimes get overlooked as strengths. The card has a lady preparing an alchemial process, similar to turning water into wine or metal into gold, and there are two sphinxes playing at her feet. The lady is quite comfortable doing many things at once happy in her knowledge of what the outcome will be. She has a supreme power inside herself, a compassion that shows no bounds, she takes everything in her stride. She keeps herself busy and is never bored but always looking for things to do. Being a good parent is a gift that many find hard, but which you appear to find easy. Look at what you have achieved and do not worry, you do yourself an injustice by thinking that you are doing things wrong. All you need is a moments rest and time for a quick breather. You may need to look for things to keep yourself active, perhaps start a course or learn something online, maybe just look deep into yourself and listen to what you want. You may find that it can be easily fitted into your life right now, with only a few small changes
I hope you enjoyed your reading, I would be very pleased if you could post any comments or feedback , thanks
