Hello Elizabeth,

I chose a three card reading, on past present and future

Past - The Star
Th Star is a beautiful bright card, it shows a lady with one foot on grass and one foot in the ocean, she has a clay jug in each hand and is pouring water over the land and the ocean, above her is the sun shining brightly and 7 stars twinkle. The Star can show choices and indecision, being torn between two homes or places, unable to choose between them and so ending up in the middle. It can show hardwork and healing that has taken place over the past years. The imagery of day and night is echoed in the sun and the stars being shown together, the sun shines down and nourishes everything it touches, the stars show us the possibilities and the seven wonders that we may perform. There may have been grey clouds over some of your past but it would seem that you have laid any problems to rest and have decided to move on to better things, calm and peaceful and confident in that your past decisions were made with a good intent and a happy heart.

Present - The Devil
A card that many might think of as scarey or bad, but the Devil can show us our mischeiveous and playful side. The emotions of passion, lust, fire and enthusiasm can be part of the human's devlish side, as can fear and worry. The Devil can also come to us to remind us to have more fun, to laugh and share jokes and to ensure that we move on and are not fixed in our mudane ways. This card can signify the need to understand our true wants and needs and to act on them so that we enjoy life more. Sometimes by changing things, being more daring, taking chances, or even saying what we really feel, our lives can become easier, we are no longer chained to the present but we start to move on again towards our goals and dreams.

Near Future - 9 of Pentacles
Pentacles can signify, material goods, acheivements, certificates, gold or wealth. The lady has 6 gold pentacles to her right and 3 to her left, and she holds a hooded falcon in her gloved hand. She is surrounded by a vineyard full of ripe red grapes, a very good harvest. The sun is shining brightly and the scene is peaceful. 9 pentacles is a great achievement, perhaps by making changes now, and sewing the seeds you will be able to reap what you sow later. Putting in hard work now is not your idea of fun but the treasures that come long term need patience and nuturing and that takes time and effort and a firm base. This is echoed by a tiny snail working his way across the left side of the picture, slow and steady and reliable. Unlike the falcon that flies fast and high and then swoops onto his target, but sadly sometimes misses his target.
