Hi I would like to start with a request for a reading. I have taken on a new buisness type venture and I am curious how it is going to go for me. I am also a clairvoyant who loves tarot cards and would like to do readings here some time. I never charge, because I feel my abilities are a gift from God, and that I should give of what was given to me freely. TY.

Could I please speak to you first as one reader to another and tell you that although I completely share your sentiments about not charging for the gifts so freely given to you by your Creator, not everyone has the luxury of doing so, especially if their readings are there only source of income? While we are largely spiritual beings we are still temporarily living in a physical world and body, and if we lack the resources to get our basic physical needs met then we have very little time left over for more spiritual matters.

I feel both privileged and humbled myself to not need to charge for my readings, but I would not want other readers who do feel the need to think that I am negatively judging them for needing to do so in order to be able to pay those seemingly endless bills, and hopefully have some money in surplus to do some of the things which make life still seem worth living.

Lecture over. Soapbox put away. Onwards to your reading!

I was wondering on looking at your request as to whether your new business venture lies in the general direction of you helping people who are not quite as fortunate as you are, as you do not come across to me as a ruthless business woman who would do anything in order to make a big profit. Nor do I see you as being a person who would be able to successfully sell a product or service in which you did not believe, as your heart would no longer be in it.

What I usually refer to as the primary card for your reading with special reference to your new business is the Queen of Swords. Any of the four Queens generally mean that you are currently entering upon a period of significant change and personal growth in your life and that you will not allow anything to stop you from achieving your goals, unless it happens to be against your spiritual principles, or mean that you must walk over another person's feelings to get what you want. Would it be improper of me to say that I simply cannot see you as a hard nosed business woman, and I therefore see your major life challenges to lie in the area of building a successful business, while at the same time being the same warm and sensitive person you have always been?

The Queen of Swords specifically is frequently the type of woman to whom everybody goes when they need to find information or to work out what is the best thing to do. This type of woman is effectively a library on legs, and she often carries everything around with her (short of the kitchen sink) in case it can be used to help others.

I would consequently see her as someone you would go to when you had a problem and someone you could trust not to tell others what had been previously discussed in strictest confidence. She would therefore make an effective counsellor, or someone who is at her very best when dealing directly with people, rather than being stuck all day behind a desk shuffling papers. I regard this as being very relevant to you, as you start this new business of your's.

While your new position will necessarily involve a certain degree of paper work and other legal and financial considerations, if it constantly takes you away from meeting and getting to better know your clients, it is probably not going to fail completely, but you will never be truly happy as learning all you can about other people is such an important part of your spiritual path. While nobody could wish for a more loyal and courageous friend than yourself when the chips are down, others may find you somewhat overpowering or even intimidating as you project such an air of style and confidence (although you may be feeling anything but confident inside yourself) that they are left in awe of you and your obvious gifts and abilities.

On the basis of this reading as well as my first impressions on reading your request, I am feeling increasingly confident that your new business will not only survive, but that it will soon go from strength to strength BUT ONLY IF you can ensure that you continue to get your own ever changing needs met at the same time. If necessary be willing to delegate responsibilities to those working under you, as I see it as imperative that you should maintain a comfortable balance for you between getting your business up and running and more fully living your personal life. If you are both willing and able to do this I sense that you will not only be a significantly happier person than you might have otherwise been, but you will also have a much more successful and efficient business as an added bonus.

Ty both of you for thinking of me. Eye of Tiger your reading hits home very well! I want you to know that I do not think it is wrong to charge for anyones abilities, just that I have struggled with wether or not I ever would myself really. I think that given the oppurtunity I would ultimately allow it. Who am I to deny my family a stable income, when I was born with the tools to provide it. Matter of fact the buisness venture I was asking about had to do with this very delema:) I am curently in a possition to be able to take my abilities and make them a bit more public. I am pretty scared actually, but very excited due to the fact I am no where near in a possition to turn away potential income. I wanted you to know where my question lead fully cause as a medium/clairvoyant I know how nice it is to have validation, and a thank you once in a while. Thank you both again!
