Hello - I am brand new here.  I usually use the Tarot as a means of inner exploration, sort of like looking into it as a dream and seeing what the dream has to say to me.

At the moment I am feeling a very strong need or pressure to make some kind of change in my life, in the way I participate in my own life and would much appreciate even a one card reading from someone else in answer to the question, "what is the most important change I need to make right now".

Hi Megan,

Your card for this reading the Six of Cups strongly suggests to me that either something or perhaps someone from your past is going to come back into your life and revive fond memories in you of times when things appeared to be going much more smoothly for you than they might be now.

There are definite feelings of nostalgia with this card and of you attempting to regain a sense of balance and harmony in your life that you have not experienced for some considerable time. The Six of Cups is generally thought to represent your closest relationships (love life) so it is [therefore in this area of your life on which this current reading is focussed.

I can see you now looking through your old letters and photographs, possibly going all the way back to the days of your youth (no offence is intended by this comment) and wishing that you could recapture the magic of those happier and less complicated times.

This card however is telling me that while you cannot live forever in the past, you now have a valuable opportunity to take whatever positive lessons you have learnt from it to make your current or still future relationship work much more to your advantage than it might have otherwise.

Do not give up all hope of your love life ever getting better over the next six months or so, but also do not continue to view the world through rose coloured glasses and ignore the evidence in front of you. Hello & Thankyou! - this makes perfect sense tho not exactly in the "love-life" arena - I tend to be an idealist and often fall prey to a kind of dream nostalgia, remembering things as I wish they were rather than how they actually were.  - I recently got a fortune in a fortune cookie that said the best times of my life have not yet been lived.  Perhaps that change is to learn from the past but to stop thinking that the best times of my life are behind me. To start looking forward to the  best times of my life that are still ahead for me. Perhaps yearn or feel a "nostalgia" for what is yet to be ;P
