now as few have predicted things have started opening up and a friend is coming to meet me in 10 days to discus about a new business venture which he wants to start in partnership with me
we talked about this few months back but will be talking now face-to-face and i'm expecting this to materialise in 3 months

i'm in india and he's coming from usa.
he was my ex-roommate

how will he respond to my ideas now, will this work ?

Coming all the way to India from the USA does show a lot of enthusiasm and monetary commitment, but I think that you need to do a lot of the groundwork and get the contractual paperwork sorted first or perhaps you might find that he tries to claim expenses for the trip.

You sound indecisive? It's a big step for both of you and the distance surely doesn't help either. For such a venture to take off you will need a lot of patience, determination and stamina.  Now let me go and see what the cards can add
