This is my first time post.
I have met a man who seems nice and he has invited me (and my dog) to his home on Dartmoor.
My friend said I would be mad to go there as I have only met him and know nothing about him.
I am a bit vulnerable I suppose as I have been housebound for many years with chronic illness and socially isolated.
He DOES seem like a nice man. Warm and happy and I would like to think that there is a happy future with him.
But I would very much appreciate some insight into the situation if anyone wants to help me which I would very much appreciate.

First, I don't think that tarot is needed to say a few words of caution? If you have only just met then you have to rely on first impressions. You say you are already in a vulnerable situation. Hopefully he isn't going to take advantage. What is your dog like? Big and protective or small and friendly? Is there a way that you can meet some more in public places or at a mutual friends house so that you have a chaperone perhaps and that way build up trust and a friendship? Perhaps say to him that you feel seeing him at his home on his own is too big a step this early in a relationship? Dartmoor can be secluded. I hope that everything goes ok and that you end up happy and content

I read from my Vision Tarot and pulled you a relationship spread asking what you need to know at this time.

The first card was The Hermit, which relates to this man living alone, perhaps turning his back on others and keeping himself to himself, looking for friendship and companionship but very much scared of being hurt. Part of him loves the solitude and part looks to the outside world. This card also affects you and tells of your time inside where you learn more and more and are drawn to fly and raise your wings up above the earth.

There is a wonderful sunrise appearing next and your world is filled with a golden glow, much warmth and joy but perhaps a little too much rosy shadows too. You have some friends but do not make them easily and it is because you draw back and worry too much about what they think. Instead you should look calmly at what you want to do and which path is for you. Sometimes smoke fills the road and you struggle to find your way, this tires you out and you need lots of rest.

Later this year will be a wonderful harvest so it is like you reap what you sow. Take time to plant seeds firmly, tenderly looking after them and nurturing their roots. There is a gentleman on the horizon, a good friend that brings you gifts, this may not be the man we are thinking about though as this one seems to be more distant right now. Before too long you will be celebrating and drinking in all the fun and laughter.
