We can try a mirror spread, which is good with relationships.
Card 1: Your role. 4 of wands. You might be a bit of a party girl.

You like to enjoy life, and know how to celebrate. Your friends and family are important to you.
Card 2: The way you see the other person in the relationship. The Magician. He is unpredictable, and exciting. He may be very worldly, knowing a great deal about many things. The only downside is that you have a hard time figuring out where you stand with him, and he's not transparent about his emotions.
Card 3: The way they see themselves. Knight of Cups. He sees himself as romantic, a lover, perhaps a charmer.
Card 4: What the person represents to you. 3 of cups, reversed. The relationship is an achievement to you. This may be the most serious relationship you have experienced in your life so far. He is someone you can picture yourself with for a very serious relationship.
Card 5: What you represent to them. 6 of wands. You represent a period of change in his life. He may have found himself in some kind of transformation during your relationship. The relationship helped to encourage these changes.
Card 6: Obstacles within the relationship. King of Pentacles, reversed. No one takes initiation in this relationship. You may both think about making choices, but things never really come to pass. He may be focused on other factors, like his career, possibly a business.
Card 7: Strengths within the relationship. 3 of swords, reversed. Being together makes both of you feel less alone in the world. Things feel "right" when you are together, and lonely when you're apart.
Card 8: Probable result. 5 of swords. This can mean a few things. But, it may mean a parting of ways. You will ultimately have to make the choice to accept this or not, of course. But, this card generally indicates that you may each go your own way, and someone might feel betrayed.
