Although you didn't ask for a runic spread, I found myself asking a similar question of myself careerwise, so I thought I would do a 3 rune (past-present-future) spread for you question of changing career.  Normally the 3 rune spread covers the future for the next 3 months.  Here is what I got:

Rune 1 - Past - Algiz reversed.  A failure to follow instincts, or to hold on to success, or repelled by someone/thing.

Rune 2 - Present - Wunjo reversed.  Sadness, sorrow, stifled in current situation.

Rune 3 - Future - Berkana reversed.  Family problems or domestic troubles.  

Interestingly enough, the first 2 runes correspond somewhat to the first 2 tarot cards from RedWhisper.  The last rune (future) is a different draw.  While it doesn't counsel not to make change, it does advise there may be some difficulties in the transition period (which I identified as 3 months before the cast).

Either way, you're going through hard times... Sorry.

do you mean, for the following three months(the next three months) i will continue to have hard times. or do you mean that you see a period of transition, but during this transition period there may be family and domestic difficulties.

I am trying to take control of my situation now... i hope i will be able to soon.

both the tarot and the rune have not indicated any immediate improvement in my situation :(

Normally the future cast looks at the next three months, let's say the middle of January to the middle of April, since that is about now, and the future cast is an expression of what is interpreted for that time.  In the cast that I did, the problems identified are runically predicted to happen in that time.  

This does NOT say that every day will be like that, only that there will be an increase of such problems over the normal for your life, in that period.

Also, this does not say that this is a permanent condition.  I state this for 2 reasons:

1.  The three month cast does not look beyond that point.  After 3 months, that condition may change.  A more sophisticated rune cast is usually required to look beyond the 3 months.

2.  Berkana reversed is not necessarily a sayer of doom; it may just be a warning and counsels prudence and restraint.  Often the implication is that you should not make change for three months, but wait for a better time or opportunity.

I have to work today, but I can plan on a better spread later on, if you would like.  Just let me know.
