Hi Laura. Good luck with learning the tarot. It's been such a great experience for me, using MB Learn Tarot,

In regards to your teenage son, we can try a basic Celtic cross while focusing on him and his life situation.

Card 1 - central issue - the Magician. Planned changes surround him, but we already can assume this from circumstances. He may be a bit unpredictable in his reactions - agreeable in one moment, resistant in another. He may have intentionally initiated the change through his actions.

Card 2 - obstacle - Ace of Swords. Force, intensity. Someone may be forcing the situation to turn in what they perceive is their favor. There could be an aggressor involved, who believes he (or they, I sense) is completely justified.

Card 3 - the ideal - 4 of pentacles. He needs security and stability, on all levels. Ideally, he will stay close to his family, which is the goal of the whole process. This is better for him than to be outside of the household.

Card 4 - what is already on your side - the Empress. His mother. You love him and want to see him thrive in his environment. You'd like to see him obtain greater material possessions and a chance at a successful life. Your intentions are good, and this is a great asset to him.

Card 5 - the past - 6 of pentacles. Some sort of charity may have been received. You may have needed financial support from an outside party, or experienced some form of hard times which forced you to rely on others for a short period. This may have influenced the situation?

Card 6 - what will soon occur - the World. This is a great card. Integration and unification - things will pull together. All of the loose pieces and troubles may be put together, giving you a situation that will be much easier to work with. This could mean a unified family front?

Card 7 - your role - Strength. You have been calling on patience and inner strength to deal with the recent situation. Much will be required of you.

Card 8 - the role of your environment - Page of Wands. Others may be helping you, and supporting your positions. Your goals and aspirations may be ambitious.

Card 9 - hidden information - Queen of Swords. There is a rather strong-willed woman in the picture. She may be deeply involved in this situation. This woman may be experiencing some difficulty coming to terms with things, and accepting circumstances.

Card 10 - one outcome - the High Priestess. Secrets and mystery. The future is not clearly defined. The outcome may not be for you to know at this time, although you can expect to gain wisdom from it.

As I said in my previous post thank you so much for the reading.  I feel that I should confirm some of what you relayed to me.

Card one, This is so true!

Card 4, complete agreement with this.

Card 5, Yes!

Card 6, things will pull together.   Amen!

Card 7, calling on patience and inner strength.  Yes  I do  everyday.

Card 8, thank goodness for support I need it.

Card 9,  took me a while to figure this one out.  I feel it would be my son's step-mem.  Regarding:  Strong-willed woman. Difficulty coming to terms with things.  (possibly even my mom, probally his step-mom)

Card 10, Secrets and mystery. The future is not clearly defined. The outcome may not be for you to know at this time, although you can expect to gain wisdom from it.   That statement is very fitting.  Not for me to know, of cousrse it's not, gaining wisdom... I know that is why we are here but, to me in order to gain wisdom also means heartache, worry, things going wrong.  That is what is scarey and worrisome.

I have had several readings done in the past.  I find it all very interesting, and complex.  I would love to have the abilities.  Right now I just try to rely on my inner intuition, you know not that little voice which some say they hear.  I have never heard voices in my head but rather a silent answer or response to things and I always say thank you.  

I had a dream a few weeks ago.  Regarding abilities.  I can't recall my dreams in great detail  or even really describe most of them.  But this one was like a warning an insight to the fact that I may be asking for more than what I would really care to know or be able to handle.  Anyways, I a woke and had the feeling of relief that I don't have all of those abilities.   I felt very relieved.
