Requests for ideas on a horoscopes spread

Hi all, hopefully someone may be able to help with an idea for a spread that I can use to for horoscopes - or horrorscopes as i've called them.

My intention is twofold.  I'm a member of another private messageboard and am self appointed resident mystic - as of yesterday.  What I want to do, is a weekly prediction of horoscopes for each sign.  The idea being that it's some lighthearted reading for the other posters, whilst giving me practice on interpreting the cards and their relationships with other cards.

I'm wondering if anyone can suggest a suitable method to use. ie how to shuffle and select the cards, and how many cards should I draw for each sign - will be for a weekly prediction.

I did have a go yesterday and was basically shuffling, then cutting the pack once, and using the first seven cards - first for sun, second for mon etc through to saturday.

But, what I was finding, was that I kept drawing up to 5 of the same cards for each sign.  Although they fell in differing positions, it kind of suggested to me that I was actually drawing cards aimed at myself, rather than individual signs of the zodiac.

Can anyone suggest a method that I can use?

The only horoscope reading I know of is a spread of 13 cards. The one in the middle represents the querent and the 12 cards that surround it represent the twelve  houses. The reading is quite indepth. One could possibly use this reading as a weekly forecast, the querent being the actual sign and the 12 surrounding cards depicting what may happen in that sign in the coming week. My suggestion to use this would be to use the cards that are associated with their corresponding sun signs as the querent, then shuffle the cards and set out the spread
The spread looks something like this:

                                           [11] [10] [9] [8]

                                     [12]         [Q]          [7]
                                     [1]                          [6]

                                             [2] [3] [4] [5]

Find out what each house represents ie family work carreer spirituallity etc and read the card that is put in that place in that way.
I am not sure this will work but hey it's worth a try.

There is an Astrological spread shown on this site that you may want to go by http://www.etarotcards.com/index.htm

Hope this helps...I liked the post that gave the 13 cards in clockwise positions...thought that was a different idea and one similar to what I thought of.
