I'm new to this, have had my cards read by a good friend of mine who's read tarot for over 10 years, and her readings are dead on. I decided to go out and buy a Tarot deck myself and see if I could do this, but I do need some help.

The main question I asked is about a girl whom I think I love, but am not really sure if I do or not.  We met 4 years ago when we both went through training and have been extremely close friends since then, though that friendship has come with a lot of conflict and jealousy towards one another.  Kind of a love/hate relationship, though we've never been officially together.  Here's the Celtic Cross Spread that came about (in this order):

Looks grim but I would love an interpretation of this reading if someone doesn't mind to take the time to do so.  Thanks!

I'm new here but I've been reading tarot cards for over 20 years. I don't tend to read them by 'traditional' meanings though. I'm more of a 'thoughts and feelings which come in to my head' sort of reader. Most times I get it right but I have been known to get the odd thing wrong, so bear all of that in mind!!!!
For what it's worth, here's my interpretation of what your reading says....
You have a lot of potential and ability and lots to give to the world. You appear to me to be quite an easy going person who gets on well with most people. I don't think you're quite ready to settle down though. It's as though you see partnerships as a vehicle for you to get ahead and you want to make sure that any long term partnership you go into will be with exactly the right person. You don't want to take any risks where long term partnerships are concerned. (Which I think comes from a romantic side to you - partnerships are for life in your eyes)
You're now finding yourself heading towards a time of your life where your subconscious is telling you that you should be looking for your ideal 'mate' However! I don't think you've met her yet, which sort of rules out the girl you're talking about. I think you will meet her soon, in fact I'm getting quite a strong feeling that you'll meet her within the next seven months or so. It's going to tip your world upside down though and you're going to feel vulnerable, emotionally open and almost 'scared' of the feelings that this woman invokes within you. This is a perfectly normal stage of falling in love and there's no need to worry about it at all. You'll be leaving the nice comfortable place that you've found yourself in and moving into a world where everything is new and you're not at all sure of yourself. Don't be afraid of it! Remember that the best things in life aren't easy to come by and they all take some form of effort and perhaps even sacrifice on your part. The reality is that the new person in your life will be quite besotted by you too but perhaps afraid to show it (as you are) You have a very strong emotional basis to get you through this period and the new stage in your life will be a whole new journey. It will be a very exciting time for you but you'll feel as though you wandering through a strange landscape without a map. I do get a very strong feeling that it will, in the long run, be a good period though and one in which you will learn more than you realise at the time.
