Hi Guys, MMMM, thought to share this with you.

I had a querant and this is what i was led to do;

I decided not to do a Celtic Cross reading; we will find what we need from theses cards.

As I said, I got the “sixes” feeling when contemplating your cards.
I cleaned the cards and took out all the sixes,
The Lovers,
Six of Swords,
Six of Cups,
Six of Pentacles, and
Six of Wands.

Let’s have a look at a few key words;

Lovers—Partnerships.
Swords—moving from a bad to a good situation,
Cups—the past, or remembering the past,
Pentacles—giving or reinvesting in other people.
Wands—Man of the moment or Victory.

The first thing we see, is that the movement is predominantly to the right, the only card with an opposing direction is Pentacles. However we do find action to the left of the man. He is not giving money to his left, but only to the man on his right,  in his left hand, he has balanced scales, covering the head of the beggar. What is he saying, or, what is his body language? Good, we have established, that he is not really particular about the latter beggar, why? Behind the man we see a Castle, his home. The color of the Robes being worn! He wears blue, so does the beggar, interesting! May the beggars clothes, be a remnant of a “uniform”.  Why would the man want to “judge” the beggar, before giving him any money? Let us now, have a look at some other points of interest.  Look at the right hand of the man, it’s not in the same position as that on the Hierophant, but also passing benediction to the beggar on his right. To his left, Judgement and Martyrdom? What does Justice have to do here? Surely giving to the poor or making donations, shouldn’t be Judged at all. As is being done with his right hand?  This is what drew my attention immediately; therefore I had to discuss this at the beginning.

Let us now move down the ladder. There is no defined past, present or future. Although some events as presented, has happened.

The Lovers, signifying, close bonds, partnerships etc.

Ha, here comes Jack Sparrow and the key! You need to keep your balls in one bag, or you may get lost. Draw it on a piece of paper so you know what you are searching for later!!

OK, what links all these cards to each other---color! The Angel on the Lovers--the robes, same color as that of the child next to the woman on Six of Swords, and have a good look, they are sitting behind the Swords! Then Cups is crowned by red, so is Pentacles, but Wands are only donning the robe in red, why? The Angel’s wings are RED—DIVINATY.  Another intrigue is the balance of pentacles on Six, why is it not equally shared both sides. To the right of the man is more, and the left is less, why?

Let us now continue with colors. Have a good look, the woman on Six of Swords wears the same color as the horse on the Six of Wands, and if you look nicely you will also see his headband is the same color, but he has red and yellow as well.

Now let’s have a look at Six of Cups. This card is divided in three.
1) A man walking to the far left with a Wand, one Cup on a pillar, and below a shield---home, castle, family? Ace of Cups, Ace of Wands,
2) The boy handing one Cup to the girl--Two of Cups.
3) Four Cups with a single flower in each, in the front—Four of Cups!

Other divisions, Two Swords are planted slightly behind the other four—Two of Swords. The others more to the front—Four of Swords. To the right of the man on Six of Pentacles, three—Three of Pentacles, to his left, Two of Pentacles, what crowns him, Ace of Pentacles.

On Wands, to the left, a little behind him again, Two wands—Two of Wands. He clutches a single Wand, Ace of Wands. To his left, approaching, three wands—Three of Wands.

Although you may think there is no balance, don’t be mistaken. Let us find dualities here.

Lovers: Thought—Action.
Cups-- Boy and girl,
Pentacles-- of balance with a Judge’s scale replacing one Pentacle, and
Two Wands behind, Two Wands in front and Two Wands crossing each other! On Six of Wands.
On Swords, we find one single set of Two Swords and the others to the right, tipping the scales once again!

Let us have a look at how many Aces we can pull out here:
Lovers—NO,
Swords—NO,
Cups—Yes,
Pentacles—Yes,
Wands—Yes

How many two’s.
Lovers—Yes,
Cups—No,
Pentacles—No,
Wands—Yes.

How many three’s,
Lovers—No,
Cups—No,
Pentacles—Yes,
Wands –No.

And, what about the fours?
Lovers—No,
Cups—Yes,
Pentacles—Yes,
Wands—No.

Let us now contemplate relationships.

Ok, in the Lovers, we see a very good possibility of a partnership, but “elbow” length. In Cups we see, Ace of Wands, Two of Cups and four of Cups. The first is Four of Cups, boredom, or a stagnating relationship, of which you moved from, also reflected in Two of Swords. This gives an indication of, have a period of rest, or you may find yourself in the same situation again. Rather concentrate on financial improvement. With Ace of Wands walking away from Ace of Cups, it would be foolish to concentrate on relationships, before you are financially secure! This is reflected in Six of Pentacles as well. The practical hand being right, and the “head in clouds” hand, being the left. Get that balance right first.

Financial;
Pentacles.
Ace of Pentacles, the sure start of a profitable endeavor—this is your Crown, and can be seen as current, spilling into your long-term future.
Two of Pentacles,
Once again, maintain a balance, between what is needed and what is given—balanced scales? Profit, loss scenario and maintain yourself within the boundaries of the Law. Don’t think it will be easy; you need to consider your financial status and maintain one endeavor at this time. You need to also see, that you would need some investment, time, knowledge or money, from your side. In any event, you will be the one to do most of the work or bring most of the knowledge, as well! You may receive aid, but it will not be sufficient, only four coins. Four of Pentacles—being stingy, hold on to your money!

Opportunities;
Wands,
You have one in hand already.  However it is crossed by one Wand. This one can be seen as an obstacle, but, you will be the victorious one, as your own Wand is higher than the other and even higher than you. It also displays the Victory Crown.
This tells me, that with one, you will find equality and success!  It is a matter of getting your hands dirty, to fight the good battle, no matter how much blood you shed!

Location;
You are moving from Two, to Four of Swords. Consider that you need to find a space in which you can protect yourself, create equal opportunities, but, don’t be in a hurry. Practice prudence and plan your strategies and future with great care.

I hope you find this usefull.

What do you think?

Blessed be.

I never noticed this, but its interesting to see.   I am looking at the card now and I just realized because of your post the man walking with his wand, I have never noticed that.   What is the significance of the four of cups in the front row?   I never understood why its in front if the children instead of behind to indicate we have moved past the four of cups, the boredom etcera.    And why is one flower in the RW not facing us?

Unless I am mistaken, in the Cups suit, all the cups are empty of content, except for the Six of Cups, the Seven of Cups and the Page of Cups.  As for the Queen of Cups, she holds a cup with the top covered, almost like a samovar.

I wouldn't say the Six of Cups has only one flower in the cups, although I can see buds and other greenery, but I will agree there is one that has bloomed in each cup.

Hi Guys,

Ok, to say the least the reading was spot on! This is the second time it happened!

Cedars, I use the original RW, maybe I get a bit flustered with the colours. You raised that we have only a few Cups cards, containing something. Cups, specifically, the Ace of Cups has a connotation to the Holy Grail. However, not proved! Therefore we need to look at the articles or referances made by Merlin the Great, in the time of King Arthur. . When we look at the Ace of Cups, we see a Rosecrucion Cross, on a biscuit, being delivered by a Dove, signifying spirit.

We also find Yods and little bells on the Cup. Maybe someone can shed light on the W engraved on the Cup!! Looking at the Queen of Cups. Her Cup is far more ornate, but sports the Cross on the top of the lid. Can we consider the cherubs as handles having a link to the Holy Grail and the Ark?

We also find little balls in a cluster---grapes? Now balls and bells? What about the panels on the Cup. I see Zodiac symbols? Then bells on the Ace--wedding bells. Balls on the Cup of the Queen, mmmmm? Interesting. count how many balls on each Cup!

More interesting, look at the base of each Cup. The ones on Ace and Queen, are round, all the others square. Temperance, is the only other Card having Cups with round stands. The Star has decanters. Eight of Cups, once again a man walking away with a wand.

Yes we see that the four Cups on Six of Cups is very conspicious. On the four of Cups, the three Cups in the front is exactly the same! In four of Cups, we see; Ace of Cups and three of Cups. Can we now consider that we have skipped Two of Cups, contained in four of Cups? In six of Cups we find, Ace, Two and four of Cups.

We know six of Cups is "reflection" and memories of the Past. Can we now perhaps draw the following conclusion; The four predominant Cups is a remebrance to a happy and blossoming relationship, which eventually turned out to be stagnant. Now, thinking back, you see the good experiences are far more, than the few unhappy days you had?

This is wonderfull. Having these discussions is so important.

Blessed be.
