Hello,

Can anyone explain the timeframe used in a four card spread. How long in the future is the future position? Also, How much longer is the fourth card, "outcome" away from the future?

I do not know what you mean about a four-card spread. Your question is a bit ambigous.

Are you talking about a particular 4-card spread and if yes, what do the other cards say?

To pinpoint exact timing in a tarot reading is very difficult. If the Future card is a major arcana card, then I would say the outcome is imminent. Then, what is imminent?

I would take each reading with a time span of of between 3 - 6 months.

I don't know the spread you speak can you explain the position and what they mean. it would be fun to learn about it!

The first card is the past....second, the present.....third is the future.....and fourth is the outcome.....I just wonder when they say future how far in the future these events could occur.

As I said before Christine, it is anybody's guess. It depends what card you got to indicate that future aspect. Some cards do give an idea of the future, especially court cards. But it is best to always view a tarot reading or any form of psychic reading for a period of six months.
This is my take in the timing aspect.
