Wonder if someone would be so kind as to advise the significance of a court card appearing in a spread in the outcome position, does it mean that this person will have an influence on the seeker or any other possible explanations? thanks x

Court cards can be complex, but to answer your question, Yes....but not necessarily. Generally speaking, court cards are people around us; they could be messengers, bearer of news or people who actually come into our life (or those who are already in our life) and have an impact on us.

It can also be (depending which court card) that we may be needing their personality traits to take on board in order cross a certain obstacle in our life.

They could also mean movement in the case of the Knights. They could mean a movement from one phase on to another, depending what energies that card signifies.

Pages could be the start of a new energy as well, which is more innate than from an outside energy. They could represent news from afar or from nearby.

As you can see, Court cards are not as simple as they sound, but they are a necessity in a tarot deck.

However, after all said and done, the querent may very well know what or who a particular court card may be, depending on the question aske. Or, sometimes it is a mystery which will be revealed in due course.

Court cards also have astrological attributes and they could play a part in the timing of events......

there are different schools and views on timing with the tarot....... plesae steer away from Timing; it may confuse you with regard to your reading.
