Hi,

I was wondering if I could get some insight on a tarot reading I did for myself. I did the Josephine Ellershaw Celtic Cross Spread using the Guilded Tarot cards by Ciro Marchetti.

My question for the tarot was: What are the odds of Mery and I ever being together?

Mind you, she was my best friend and we had a falling out and I'm ashamed of my actions. She told me that she was really disappointed in me for taking advantage of her. I did lie to her at first but owned up to it when she gave me two options. I admitted to my wrong doings before she even mentioned what the options were. I apologized profusely and understood how she felt. I betrayed her.

She did call me later on that day a couple of times but our conversation was less than 2 minutes. She said she would call back but never did. It's been two days now. She normally calls me and I don't have a number I can reach her at.

She did mention to me the night before that she did a tarot reading on herself and that she had to cut two people out of her life because they said they weren't who they are. She jokingly said that maybe it was me and I agreed.

Now I think that she did cut me out of her life without telling me. If she did I will not resort to tactics like her exes or friends did. i.e. stalking, harassing phone calls, harassing friends, etc...

I will leave her be and see if she will ever contact me again.

actually what do you think your reading is telling you.  you seem to know already.  i don't know your deck so it's even harder to led you in the right directions of reading your cards.

I must echo what George has said, that you do already know the meaning of the reading. Your question though is not worded particularly well, the intention is there, but the phrase ' what are the odds' doesn't really apply in a reading as your spread will not offer back that information.

However on the face of that reading, and if you are using the Gilded, then I think that you are right and the relationship is about to change and there is a new future ahead of you.

I guess what I really want to know is if she will still be in my life and try to contact me. I figured that I will give her time to think things through before I try to find a way to contact her and relay my feelings about the whole situation and ask for forgiveness.

One part of me is saying I screwed up big time and it's over but another part of me is saying that she will contact me.

I feel the cards were also telling me something about my financial status as I've been working on figuring out my financial mess and I'm looking to see where I can make my changes.

I guess what I'm really wondering is if it's really over between us?

you are looking for the answers in the cards that you didn't seem to ask.  are the tarot cards going to tell you "is it over...?"  No, they wont tell you that in a yes or no answer.  what you need to take from the cards are a more positive path to achieve those goals.  if i was reading the cards i would say the Death card is the end to something, the Hermit is showing that you are reflecting on those things, the Devil could be showing you the relationship has conflicts, temperance is forgiveness that you wish to have, ace of cups shows a new beginning.  learn from those cards alone.  say to yourself, i need to think about what i did, is this the end? do i need to forgive myself? what is it that i want as a new beginning?  think about who you are and use the cards to better yourself and don't think you are going to change your friend or the cards are going to tell you that they have changed. your action are the cards and the cards can change if your actions change.  If you ask for forgiveness from her that is a positive step (assuming you mean it) but that doesn't mean you will speak to her again and that is something you might have to accept.  
let me know what you think.  how do you see the cards i am talking about?  tell me what they say to you and not what your hopes are!  btw, that is the hardest part about reading for yourself.
