True Cedars.  I think we as readers should be able to guide the seekers with accurate messages that we receive from the cards. If we do not do so, we are in effect giving only a partial reading. Based on an understanding on the seeker's situation  we could use subtle ways to communicate the messages.

Many times when we discuss, we discuss out from our own "level" ( and I think our 2 active Tarot readers has shown a good level as such, with the ability to point out thing in a nice way)

BUT, since there is a lot more practicing Tarot, and there is no certification for TAROT;VEDIC; WHATSOEVER, then we must in my opinion promote a careful approach, so we avoid people with "low understanding" in the Trade casting havoc on the seeker because (S)he more read a description, but don't necessarily understand the  full meaning of the given info...neither the question....and one thing that easy comes to mind it the forecast of infidelity, which creates thoughts in the seekers mind, and slowly burn them out, even if the partner have been faithful all along.

We as humans have a treat to believe, that what we believe are the only truth, this has a great danger when it comes to any forecast, and if we look to the tradition of the eastern people, and their belief in any form for Reading, then anyone can buy a software for around 100 dollar and tell who suit together...when you best can marry, how many marriages you can have,how many children, what education fit you best, what job you can take, yea the seeker even ask how their future partner will look.....when such power is laid in the hand of a human, then he has greater power then GOD, and the worst thing is that one don't need any exam to be it either........don't let Tarot transform into the same......it is the responsibility of the Reader to educate the seeker, and know his/her own limit.

Every card has its own interpretation. These interpretations are known to the reader. It’s important to remember that good as well as bad happens to each person, however we don’t enjoy the bad happening.

We, who have the gift of seeing by our psychic abilities, should not mince our words to make a querent happy with what we said. To see that a person is going into a business venture, but it spells insolvency or disaster, how can we bend the truth or what we see?

I had an incident once, where I did a reading and predicted “the bomb will burst” this I saw to happen in a few days and was not going to a good event. (The Tower). So it happened. The Querent specifically called me to read, as she was aware of “something” going on. I just told her, but, not whether good or bad. She was highly disgusted, when it happened and said to me that “you could see it was going to bad, why didn’t you tell me”

This is my interpretation of the 5 of Pentacles;
Card Description.
Within a snowstorm a destitute couple, with torn clothes and physical injuries passes an established building with a well lit window as the main object in a solid wall.

Meaning: “financial destitution”

This is a card describing financial loss, failure, lack and poverty. Mental and physical fatigue & spiritual impoverishment. You are in the icy grip of destitution, out in the cold. Suggesting physical comfort, the window is situated within a solid wall or stronghold. The church-like window suggests a place of spiritual well-being as well as financial stability. The torn clothes suggest abuse and a battle lost, even the base of the male person is unbalanced. Consider the Emperor creating the Kingdom. Here also the wife is the subject of disgrace. The card also allegorizes that established institutions are not willing to assist them. The matter that the husband, is unable to provide, will also lead to the loss or separation of his family and those dear to him.

Upright:
Financial loss, failure, lack and poverty. Seperation. Mental and physical fatigue. Spiritual impoverishment.

The meaning of this card has far-reaching consequences. You are or will soon be in a position where you have been ripped to pieces by those wanting their money. You’ve been left with nothing. The unfortunate part is that you may have been the cause of all this turmoil and destruction. You based everything on one single project to ensure financial stability. With all the eggs in one basket, you risked all and lost the battle. You dropped the basket or the handle merely broke. Not only is it your financial stability, but also your spiritual and mental position that is suffering. Nobody could foresee this happening, although you saw it coming you didn’t act fast enough to ensure your well-being. This is an all time low for you and will not disappear overnight. The only thing for you to do is to weather the storm, get it over and done with. Then start building again, for anything will be better than what you have now. Remember to, then, keep this cycle in mind and take precautionary measures.

Reversed:
Still predicts financial troubles. Reversal of bad fortune, strengthening of family bonds. Improvement but temporary.

Whether this card is positive or negative it still predicts some headwind and misfortunes. Although you are or will experience financial hardship, it’s more a time where money is tight. Where it was possible for you to have some royalties, you’ll need to trim them away. You can expect this to slowly come to an end whereby you will achieve success. When we now look at this card as in the”PAST” Your querent may identify with it, as it already happened. How then are you going to explain if this card is in position 3, 6, 9 or 10 in the Celtic cross, or in past, present, future 3 card spread, as the “future” card?

For me, I look at the reality, either you have money in your hand or you don’t have. You can’t maybe have money in your hand. When a querent consults with a reader, they normally have problems, or not sure what to do, in a certain set of circumstances. In this then, the querent is forewarned and may be able to do something to avoid a bad situation from happening.

Another consideration is; when you have done a reading for someone. It has already altered their future! I always make sure to tell my querent that absolutely nothing is set in stone, and by their own efforts they can alter that which is shown by the cards.

That is also why it’s so important for me to add three cards of advice. In these cards the solution can be very clear.

I agree with your sentiments and it is also important how ready the querent is to receive the truth bluntly... We, as intuitive people, should get a feeling about the querent's emotional and/or mental strenght at that particular period in their life, if they would be able (I say 'able' and not 'willing') to absorb such news.
As senstitive people, I am sure we are all able to put our words in such a way that we do not alarm the querent but be a beacon to warn of a forthcoming storm.

One of my clients (also a friend) is a cancer patient and everytime I have given her a reading (despite my fears) I have never had any messages re health or even a life-and-death situation. She is under medical supervision and I would not want to be the one to deliver her such news. I think spirit know best how to handle such situations. But, surprisingly enough, all her readings have been about material and financial stuff - full of pentacles - to which she could resonate and agree with. She was also surprised herself that in all her readings with me and others, she has never had any messages or insights about her health or about her lifespan.....

The reading I did for her last week I used the Star spread where there is a position called 'obstacles'. Whilst the other positions were mainly pentacles and, by her admittance, her oncologist (Queen of Wands) has shown up twice now, the rest were all about money matters. I got the Sun under the Obstacles position and I was - inwardly - a bit stuck with it. I bluntly told her that this is such a positive card and I would need your help to decipher why we got the Sun in this position. (at the end of readings I like to work with the querent with all the cards and have an interaction).
She was all smiles. She knew what the Sun stood for as an Obstacle: it was their house in Spain (sun and heat) which was becoming difficult to sell --- but the rest of the cards showed that obstacle being cleared away be September/October time.
She was pleased. When asked why doesnt she ever get any insights about her health? I told her perhaps spirit doesn't see any reason for her to be worried about her health, hence she is being busy with material stuff and wealth.  

I am no God and I thought that was the best answer for her at the time.
