About 5 years ago I began to read Tarot successfully after my mother brought me a set for christmas. Shortly after using them I had a long run of bad luck. My parents split up as my father had an affair with my best friend, my Grandad past away, I lost most of my eyesight, lost my job, My aunt had a massive heart attack at the age 32, and my godmother past away.

My Grandmother told me that she heard that reading Tarot can bring on a curse. So I threw my deck in the bin....however I miss them dearly and wonder if I should start again. However I don't wish to bring on any more bad luck

Can any one help me

The Tarot don't bring any bad luck.....it only so happen that you connect your misfortune to all the event, and superstition from your Grandmother.

Tarot in itself is a tool, that in the right hands can do much good, or if used by wrong people even damage.

It is not the card that do this, but the thoughts the Reader implant in the seeker.....just like your Grandmother implanted the curse idea in your head.

There is "thousand" and "thousand" that use Tarot card, either professional or to own use, it would be well known if Tarot had the ability to do curse by use

So you just find your Tarot ability back, and use it in the "service" of light, and you will do yourself good

Tarot....i have used Tarot over 10 years and have found the use of Tarot to be a wonderful tool to bring such enlightment to one's Journey..........

It is true , Suggestion is such a powerful tool either as good or not so good for us.........unfortunately ........it is how we react to how it will affect us.......

Please embrace the Tarot cards as a tool to open up your own psychic abilities..........with love and light......

I agree. It is how you use it. I don't think it has a curse. Don't you worry, It could just be coincidence.
I'm reading 2 years of tarot now, and nothing weird has happened.

But I do think it gives me more forsight AND more information about myself.

I believe this is one of those "fear of the unknown" rumors, like that of not using divination tools on a Sunday and not letting querents touch your deck.

I also find that cards are a great and beautiful tool, with as much meaning as we put into them. But, at the end of the day, they are cardboard pieces and have less of a chance to harm you than your own pillow. So I would not give them up for the world and I hope you don't either, although I would look for the meaning of all those strange coincidences elsewhere, specially in the minds of those concerned in them.
