I would help you hon, but I am new to tarot too. I have dabbled, like you said. But now I really want to be an inspirational reader. I thought someone had answered your question and I could learn someting I didn't know. After all learning is a never ending story. LOL

Hi
I don't read the Celtic Cross as you do; over 30yrs i have developed a different style of reading which seems to suit me and my clients. But as you have set this out i will have a stab at reading this for you, based on the traditional positions of the cards.
The spread as a whole suggests a union with someone (for whatever reason) is causing you some concern that you might become trapped in something you will find difficulty in getting out of.
To some extent this is based on your past experiences, when what you thought you loved/needed came crashing down before you.
The lovers card at the base of the staff further indicates your involvement with someone; which could turn out to be somewhat of a problem.
You already have a lot of what you need and you are learning all the time. In my deck...The Robin Wood Tarot...The eight of pentacles has a screen behind the young person. This suggests blocking out the past in order to concentrate on what is important now and getting on with your life without further complications. To pursue a relationship (in all aspects) might not be right for you at the moment.
And yes you do want everything. Stability, love and care, and in the end you will get everything you desire. The wheel of fortune is turning: but it is a fate card, so it could turn in your favour or against you.
Concentrate on the idea you have in your mind and develop this to its full extent. This way you will ensure there will be better things to come.
I used the Robin Wood Tarot Deck for this which interprets much the same as Rider-Waite.
Many Blessings
Michael
