Anything is worth it if you feel a hard enough pull towards it.

My last craving for a deck was the first time I saw Ciro Marchetti's Guilded Tarot: I knew I would not rest till I laid my hands on that beautiful deck. And it is fine for readings, too, which is a big plus. But I am shying from acquiring his newest deck, at least till its price goes down a bit.

So it all depends on how big is your craving, but in that case, the printing option is certainly a cheaper solution. If you really love it, you can always buy the real thing, unless it is so rare that you can no longer buy it: then printing may become your only option, so go ahead
