I have noticed a similiarity of cards drawn whenever I do a reading for myself after I read for a stranger even though it's been a few days.
Any insights on this?

Even after I shuffle the cards many times, there will be many of the same cards.

Mmmm... I usually get many of the same cards when reading for the same person, even when the readings are far apart in time.

I get many cards that seem to be "my own", when reading for myself, which is not often (the Tower is one of them, and I was tickled to see in another thread here that others were getting it meaningfully in their newly acquired decks).

But I never noticed if I got the same cards on consecutive readings. Usually, each reading gives a general impression that reflects the querent, and I do get very different global impressions for each, even if there are a few cards in common. May be that is why I do not notice it. I will try to be on guard next time.

What do you think it means? Is the global meaning also similar or is it quite different? The same cards in different combinations can give a very different impression, you know: gloomy, sunny, happy, distrustful, sad...
