Bella.
I see the Ace as the initial spark itself, the two, the direction and three the fruit of the preceding cards. It's better-understood, when you take into consideration the Yods and it's path as well as the numerological and biological functions in the kabalah linked to each number.

Hi Payewacker, I hope you are feeling better.
I think we both see the 1,2,3 the same, as I said in my post, "
Ace, initial idea, two where the idea is carried out and how three bears the fruit of that idea" this sounds the same as you say above. The Ace as you say is the spark, I like to think of it as the raw energy of the suit not yet quite formed - it is the potential of what it could be.
Now you seem to be intimating that I do not understand this, or at least do not understand it very well.
I feel I do understand this fairly well, regardless of whether or not I have any knowledge of the kabalah. However I would like to say that I personally do believe that the kabalah, like astrology and numerology walk side by side with tarot, but tarot does also stand very well on its own.
My original post was not a criticism of your post in any way, it was in a effort to help those who are just starting out, understand how the threes sit within the tarot deck.
